Description
         "Koru!"
         The young pikachu laughed with delight and hugged her brother, who had only just stepped through the entrance to her home in Energetic Forest. He was the only surviving member of her family, but he lived far away, in the outskirts of the Lightning Field. She rarely saw him.
         Koru grinned sheepishly and said "What, you expected me to not visit for my kid sister's birthday? Now, what kind of brother would do that?" He reached into a small pouch at his side. "I know your birthday's not for another week, but I can't stay that long."
         Koru produced a small parcel from his bag, which his sister took and ripped it open eagerly. Inside was a black scarf with a note that read "To Kay. Congrats on the Rescue Team! Love, Koru."
         Kay held the scarf in her paws and cried "Thank you, Koru!" She then surveyed it with a quizzical expression on her face. "But... what is it, exactly?"
         "A Vision Scarf. Wearing it lets you see hidden traps."
         "Wow! I can't wait to tell Olive!" Kay wrapped the black scarf around her neck and raced off. Koru sighed and turned to follow his sister, but then stopped. A gentle breeze had begun to blow through Energetic Forest, usually a welcome thing during the summertime, but this was different. There was something almost... unatural... about the wind, and it felt almost as though it was a physical presence. The breeze began to blow harder, and Koru ran after Kay as quickly as he could.

          An eevee slept in a leafy tree high above a structure that resembled her own face, the Pecha Scarf she wore fluttering every time she snored. Olive was deep into what had been pleasant dreams, of successful rescues and exciting adventures. But the dream began to change, and it became a replica of the day she had to leave her friends and go back to her own world. Olive's consciousness  knew that she had returned, that she would live in the Pokemon world forever, but there was still that unbearable pang of sorrow when she saw Kay's tearful face. The dream changed again, this time to something Olive had never seen before. Somehow, the eevee knew that there was a force racing toward her, closer and closer, and when it struck she felt a pain far worse than the death she had suffered when Raquaza's Hyper Beam swallowed her. But Olive did not die, and the pain grew until she wished she WOULD die. The force came to attack again, but Olive could not fight back, because if she did terrible things would happen, and she knew that this was her end, and she braced herself for the worst-
         "OLIVE!!!!!"
         The eevee woke with a start and promptly fell out of her tree, landing with a thud. She shook herself and looked up to see Kay the pikachu running toward her. Normally Olive would have been angry at Kay for waking her like that, but she was grateful to have been released from that horrible dream.
         "Olive, you'll never guess what-"
         Olive was barely paying attention to what Kay was telling her, she still had her mind on what she had dreamt. She tried to tell herself that it had been a mere nightmare, nothing more, but it had been too real to just be that. Olive prayed that dreams would not trouble her again, for she feared what would have happened if Kay had not woken her.
         A strangely chilled breeze rustled the bushes, and Olive shuddered.
