Based on a Spongebob scene www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEGVGqβ¦Shovel Knight was de-confirmed by his creator months ago.
K. Rool gained this feeling of being de-confirmed since Brawl so he got used to this feeling and lost some of his hope when a Mii costume of him was released months ago...
Shantae and her creators hyped it up more in some ways and had high hopes...
: Don't worry. Just like me 7 years ago, she'll get over it sooner or later.
I focused on these three since I see them as "The Big Ballot Three" (before Bayonetta's reveal. I do wonder who were the other 4 behind her). I liked K. Rool the most.
I don't really care too much about the new characters in general, and I'm kind of more in K. Rool's feelings XD
Smash Bros belongs to Nintendo.
The deconfirmed characters belong to their respective owners, K. Rool being with Nintendo of course.

Lol Super Salt Bros is what it should be called now lol. Β Corrin was off putting but I accept these end results. I think the game is gonna be at its best now. Who knows, maybe someone will replace Sakurai and when the NX comes out, Nintendo will pull an Arc Work Systems stunt and make a Super Smash Bros 4 Extend.Β

Even though those Shovel Knight, King K. Rool, and Shantae weren't confirmed, I was still satisfied with what they presented in the final broadcast and I could understand why Nintendo chose those characters, and their all unique in their own way, especially Corrin because he's not a normal sword fighter with his dragon transformations. I'm a little disappointed that a lot of the most popular voted characters didn't make the cut, but Bayonetta was a pretty good choice and I feel she's going to be such a broken character

which is why i'm hoping that if there is another smash bros game in a couple years... i hope they decide to put characters like Spyro,Klonoa (you might not know who he is), and i forgot who else. I'm keeping my hopes up.

You know, It's funny. Shantae, Shovel Knight, And Geno were all characters I had voted For, But in the end, it came down to just one of the people I had Voted for XD.
In all seriousness, I'm not disappointed to see Shantae and SHovel Knight didn't make it in. They could've been fun, sure, but Corrin and Bayonetta seem they're completely unique, so it's not like there's anything to complain about XD

In all seriousness, it's pretty sad that we didn't get to see cool characters like Shovel Knight =/ (At least he has an amiibo and K.Rool has a costume, so... That's something... Right? '3')

Shantae was actually on the Game Boy Color, and many consider it one of the best games on the system. I don't see why she wouldn't fit in.
