Karijn β€” Chibi Tutorial: The Squiggly Bean

Description Since everyone liked so much the last stupid tutorial I did, I made a more 'serious' one. With minimum hair involvement.

And while the Squiggly Bean does help in chibi drawings in breaking the monotony of a still character, the real (and only) solution is imagination.

And when you think that you have gotten everything out of something... Well, take a break, get a cup of tea and think again.

Haha, I don't think this is DD worthy.
(But if there ever was a Crack Award, I think I'd happily receive it. )

In bocca al lupo allora!
E' incredibile come certe cacate si trasformino in roba utile per gli altri... Io manco mi ero accorta che tutti i miei "fagiolini" erano uguali se non avessi iniziato a disegnare i chibi in fila.

Oh, that's very helpful. I've always had a bit of trouble with chibis;;

Also, I thought the left leg on the last example was actually the chibi's butt. OTL

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Karijn In reply to scarlettclouds [2012-04-08 21:01:14 +0000 UTC]

Chibis can and will develop multiple buttcheeks if left to their own devices.

Oh, hi. me again, bothering you as always!

You see, I'm starting an adoptables account o3o but I honestly suck at drawing chibis... Do you mind if I use the Squiggly Bean Theory to work them? ; 3 ; pwease?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Karijn In reply to NyanNoMurder [2012-04-05 11:29:38 +0000 UTC]

Of course you can!
I put it there to act as 'reference' of some kind, so it only makes sense for people to use it.

A) This is a lovely tutorial. I thank you.
B) (this is terribly important and off topic) Is that a chibi Neo at the bottom?
