Description
Since everyone liked so much the last stupid tutorial I did, I made a more 'serious' one. With minimum hair involvement. And while the Squiggly Bean does help in chibi drawings in breaking the monotony of a still character, the real (and only) solution is imagination.
And when you think that you have gotten everything out of something... Well, take a break, get a cup of tea and think again.

Yeah, that's how I usually do with my gesture warm-ups in life drawing: the squiggle-bean

She looks quite cute!
If I can point out one thing, the arms are very different in lenght so you might want to check that next time. Using a ruler helps even on the PC. (I generally use my fingers or a pencil, there's no need to be very precise, but arms are usually symmetrical, unless you have some kind of prosthetic/robo-arm.)

When you flip the bean horizontally the REAL magic happens.

That is the most pretty cute and clever way of drawing chibis I've ever seen.

I didn't see tutorials in your gallery.
Anyway, I'm pretty impressed too, but I think it's probably due to the new 'popular by category' algoritm.

I have been on dA since Oct 2005 and this is the first time I've been on the first page. A lot of other deviants have been on dA longer than me and they never reached it. Your drawings are cute and you have a fair amount of pageviews from 2 years on the site, I don't think you should stop trying so soon.

But when they see the thumbnail, they don't actually know what's going to be in the tutorial.
