You're very good at your technical applications, but I think your overall compositions lack something. The way you apply color and lighting is spectacular, but I'm still seeing the same thing in work after work. There's (at least lately) very little of a background and the elements on the page are arranged in a similar fashion from work to work. The people you're drawing almost never interact with an environment and that can isolate the viewer at times.
Maybe you could start by picturing people from different angles instead of straight on?
