Description
Oh SNAP, I finally (attempted) to make another tutorial for you guys and gals!BE NICE ABOUT IT...I'm not one that usually likes to do tutorials since people always complain about something when I try 'em!
Hope you like it and tell me what ya think of it! ...and please DON'T tell me if there's a spelling error! D:
P.S. I only did the face because I'm lazy. <3
PLEASE COMMENT SO I'LL KNOW IF I SHOULD EVER DO ANOTHER TUTORIAL OR NOT!

Hey this was really cool, I checked out about 7-10 introductory tutorials on cell shading and yours was the easiest to understand.
I'm coloring my first piece of art now, we'll see how it turns out

So was ALL of the shading done with the pen tool?

KariNeko In reply to Rudely [2008-02-12 01:08:08 +0000 UTC]
Yup! Basically 98% of my drawings are made with the pen tool (the other part is the shape tool...like a circle for blushes...)

What the ... You dont say HOW to do those things ... I cant get colors in my drawing X_x I have illustrator too.

KariNeko In reply to Madome [2008-01-19 01:03:56 +0000 UTC]
Well this is based on the idea that you already know the foundations of coloring in Illustrator...this is just a quick and simple "this is how I do my cell shading" kind of tutorial, not a complete step-by-step-by-step one.

Can I request a tutorial on how to cell-shade clothes? I always have trouble knowing what shapes to make when shading for the folds...

Sorry but I don't have time for tutorials anymore...I've never really liked making them and now that I work full time I have basically no real interest in doing them anymore... ) :

Thanks but I don't have any more plans for tutorials since I don't have the time and I basically hate doing them. XD Not to mention I kinda bump along will drawing faces since I do them all as vector with no sketches or anything. XD

its good. could u do one of the light source on the other side of the face, thats my main issue, is when the shading is behind the nose not infront of it.
