"15 minutes from losing my father. 15 minutes." That was so powerful when I first read it, and it still is.This is a photo taken at Union Square (14th to 18th streets between Park and Broadway) shortly after 9/11. It was a moving scene... I have often wondered whatever happened to the sheets of paper we all wrote on.
This is #5 of 10 photos I am going to post on the subject.
It's a shame we decided to blame instead of investigate and figure out what really happened. Stopping the search for the WMD's that weren't there in the first place...
Recent times have cost a lot of American lives for one man's "glory."

(I was there for Sept 11th.)
and I went to union square a few days after... and I cried
the whole time, just watching people searching for familiar faces in a sea of people, posting pictures of their loved ones, who were either gone, or lost.
and the one thing that stood out, is a kid put a shoe box with his fathers shoes in then, in the middle of bunch of candles. and it said come back dad.

Well, to be honest, my first reaction was to say no because I have no idea what your politics are and I hate how the Bush administration twisted 9/11 to their own political ends. But I should not judge before I ask questions, not knowing ANYTHING about your politics or anything about this film. But for some reason DA wouldn't let me send you a note last night. Send me one and tell me a bit more about your 9/11 video.
