um i have a suggestion~! idk if you already tried it, but if you put your lineart layer on top/as the first layer, then you wont color throught the lines if thats what you mean

I love this, but sometimes I dunno where to shade and for some reason my shade either takes the whole object or goes out of the object TT_TT

question: how do you keep the shading lines so straight? do you use a tablet or something? because mine always somes out crooked and i have to erase parts of it to make it straight.

I use a tablet, yeah! If you don't have a tablet, try using the options available with the vector layer? I personally don't use it at all so I don't have much experience with that, but I've heard some people find it helpful.

Umm..h0w do you used the selection tool and deselection tool??

Think of the selection tool as a brush, and the deselection tool as its eraser. Basically, the selection tool is like a pen used to select finer/more detailed areas of your picture. When you use it, it should leave a "blue" area. That blue area is what you've selected. The deselection tool, like I said, is like its eraser. Use the deselection tool to take off/eraser the "blue" areas that you don't want. When you switch to another tool (pen, eraser, brush...), the blue area should disappear and instead you have the "marching ants" similar to when you select something with a magic wand, etc.
