Been wanting to do this for a while.I also have to give props to (all school buddies) for influencing me as well.
Taking a second look, I feel artist such as Glen Vilppu, George Bridgman, and Steve Hamton have influenced the way I handle anatomy.

this is cool i want to make my own influence map, im not familiar with photoshop do you know how to make this on photoshop and how to put the pictures on it id really like to know

You have to select the area to be copied with a selection tool, like the marquee tool (dashed box), in the tools palette. Select the entire image with the marquee tool, then use the copy command, ctrl-c. Then using the paste command, ctrl-v, paste onto the new layer or canvas. (this is easier to do than using the move tool). To resize the image you're putting into the square you need to use the Transform tool, can't remember where it is, but that's what you need.

I guess one could say an influence map is like an incestuous pool of inspiration, muses, and examples of potentially optimizing your own practices/disciplines and such. I concede that a few said artists on here influence me as well. Neat share. Thanks!
