Description
My influence mapI did this for the Drawing for Comics class am attending at the moment. I think my map is a little bit crowded but I just had to place all of the things that influenced me and played a role in shaping my style and the way I paint today, and probably will continue to do so in the future.
I will write a quick note for each of the boxes starting from top left:
Angle dude: No name for the artist, mostly classical painting, heroic figures and superb anatomy.
Shokuen.com : I recently found his website and I have to say that I looked a lot to find it, he got some really sick figures, and I just love his girls so thin so ill.
Raymond Swanland: Amazing illustrator, he did the covers for the American version of the manga Priest.
Helmet Dude: Sculptures ... just lots of them, great anatomy and great figures.
Ashley Wood: Who doesn\'t love the work of Ashley???
Adi: He is the one who got me to love Ironman. amazing armor designer and painter.
James Jean: Who doesn\'t love the work of James!!!??? >_>
Kim Hyung-tae: Even before collage, I started collecting his work. I loved his tall girls and his super clean coloring and his costume design.
Jia Ruan: One of the best digital artist around, I love his colors and I hope that I can be as good as him one day.
Jo Chen: Clean and beautiful portraits.
Niklas Jansson: Probably you don\'t know this guy, but he is the one who got me into digital painting... yeah coz of him I wanted to paint.
Warhammer art: ....Duh!
Kids on tiger: Don\'t know the name of the artist, got lots of his work but couldn\'t find the name, help me if u can.
Mike Mignola: Who doesn\'t love the work of Mike!!!??? >_____>
Lucky Luke: I read a lot of this comic when I was a kid, got most of the translated books, they were few that got into Arabic though.
Min-Woo Hyung: The best manga artist to live, and Priest is the best manga till today...... its a shame that they stopped it...
Adrian Smith: That is a must, right?
-----------------------
That is all.
And yes you can build your own Influence Map which is made by this guy here

I'm not the only one who knows of Niklas Jansson! WOO! He also got me into digital to be honest. he's out of my Influence Map, because I couldn't find him again. Nor could I remember his name, but with this. Thank you so much, man! So many wonderful re-acquaintances.

Wow nice to find someone else who knows Jansson, his art is epic and his game concepts are just over the top. I literally started painting after reading his tutorial.

Damn I didnt know that there used to be a cartoon
The comics are originally used to be for my uncles along with Tin Tin and Asterix and Obelix and a couple more French graphical novels. Getting those in Arabic was so hard, so I assume I was lucky
