Finally, after much violent fighting and yelling at each other, Kid and his dad, Suvash, were able to forgive each other and settled their argument. Kid was glad that he and his dad were in good terms again and the two were more than ready to go home. But the laughter and smiles on the two males were immediately wiped away when they opened the door to their home and saw an infuriated Ivy waiting for them.

Ivy stood before them with her hands on her waist and a scowl on her face. "Where in the world were you two?"

Kid and Suvash remained frozen with terrified looks on their faces. Kid's ears fell back and couldn't even speak. Suvash cleared his throat and cautiously walked up to his mate. "Ivy, Honey... uh... we just went out for a walk and uh-"

The female interrupted and rose her voice slightly. "Do I look like I was born yesterday, Suvash?! Why are you two covered in bruises and scratches? You better not have gotten into a fight!"

Kid worked up the slight courage to speak up. "N-no, we were sparring and we-"

Ivy interrupted again, "Kid, you cannot lie to me! I know you two too well!" She shot her gaze back to Suvash, trying to get the truth out of him. "Well? Where you two in a fight or not?"

Suvash and Kid exchanged a look before simultaneously nodding. Ivy puffed out air from her nostrils then looked back to Kid and pointed to a wall on the other side of the room. "Time out, Kid! NOW! Meditate long and hard about your choices and why you did wrong in fighting your father! After that, you're cleaning the dishes, Mister. Am I clear?!"

"Y-yes, Ma'am." Kid shrunk down and walked towards the wall with his tail between his legs like a scolded Coatala. He sat down and faced the corner like he was told.

It was Suvash's turn to face Ivy's fury. "And you..."

"U-uh... Ivy, my love. I know you're mad but hear me out."

Ivy crossed her arms, waiting to hear what he had to say.

"I'm sorry, Baby. You know I love you, right? Please... I love you. I reeeeallly love you. Don't be mad at the boy. Or me! We were just being-"

Before he knew it, Ivy had pushed Suvash outside of the house to sleep outside for that night.

After that, the two boys are sure to learn their lesson.
