This is what he looked like before the incident [link]I just got him and Gabriel just this Tuesday. I bought him due to him having a bit of fin rot and some white stuff growing on his fins. The white stuff went completely away, but I feel absolutely horrible I feel like I failed him
Tried to give him a new home where he didn't have to worry about this kind of stuff :/ But Gabriel somehow got through the divider and shredded poor Dean, its gonna take forever for his fins to grow back 
Hopefully his personality doesn't change because of this incident
He was such a happy hyperactive spaz of a fish. From what I can tell, Gabriel doesn't even look damaged one bit. I don't see any fin damage, his face is a bit red however from flaring a ton. The two are currently in my extra tanks recovering from the ordeal D:

He is actually fine today ^_^ Despite being shredded, he is still hyper lol. But he is still recovering. I found out that Dean actually got some shots in, he bit Gabriel's face and now his eye is a bit swollen

Oh dang wow =O I thought this was a new fish you had brought home or something. Heck I didn't even know they could do that. It certainyl did shred 'um. But accidents do happen .,. I don't think you're the negligent type. Still, poor fishie. Hopefully it recovers okay.

Oh yes, he is going to get round the clock attention (Not that I wasn't doing that already lol only left the house for 2 hours to go out for dinner) now with tons of live foods to help him get stronger (:

Maybe Gabe is trying to make up for the sight lost...Perhaps he feels less secure so he makes up for it with first responce aggression...
