And here we have some sketches of Jade! I was (Still trying to design him a dragon boyfriendo is proving difficult, so I decided to take a break, and draw more pictures of Jade/add more to his backstory.

I'd imagine his adoptive dad was a unicorn studying in magic, and was able to come up with a spell to disguise/alter the young dragon's body as a pony, since dragons are basically outlawed and enemies of the Kingdom. The spell only lasts for a certain amount of time, before needed to re-applied. Still debating if its some sort of drink he takes, or an actual spell. Since J was raised by ponies, he is unaware of what he actually is, (see's himself as a pony) until he is caught by the King's Soldiers when he is not in disguise. (Basically he wanted to play with one of his friends, but went outside not in his disguise) Adult Jade would most likely never let anyone alter his appearance again, because he is what he is
