“We are coming Aiden, just hold on!”

“Well, hurry it up guys! I-“

“CURRRRAAOOOOWWWW!!” The beast yowled, as it began to approach the blonde, who was now resting on his palms on the ground after tripping up over some debris.

“GUYS!”

Aiden scooted across the ground as fast as he could, trying to get hold of his weapon that was buried underneath some rubble. The beast tilted its head side to side in an erratic manner, screeching as it realized what Aiden was going for, it lunged at him.

“KREEE-“

“AAAHH!”

“FA-POOM,” There was a burst of blinding green light, followed after by a loud rumble as the Earth around the two teens jumped. The two boys lost their balance from the sudden burst of energy as a cloud of dust hit them in the face. Their knees buckled from underneath them as they dropped their weapons to the ground, they tried so desperately to regain their footing on the unsteady ground.

“OH JEEZ, WHAT WAS THAT-“

“Hey-AIDEN!!!” the dark haired red player called out desperately, his heart raced at an alarming rate as he feared the worst for their blonde companion.

No reply.

There was an eerie green and white glow from within the cloud of dust. The brunette Red Player coughed loudly as the dust filled his lungs. His dark haired companion did the same as he tried to open his eyes to see what fate had fallen their blonde team mate.

“Aww man! What should we do-WHAT SHOULD WE DO?” The brunette squeaked, fumbling with his weapon, he pointed in the direction he hoped that the beast and Aiden were.

“S-settle down man! If-if it got Aiden, it’s going to come for us next-“The dark haired teen stuttered, trying to steady his gun. Their lasers from the guns danced frantically on the dust cloud, both of the boys unable to hold their composure. When the dust slowly began to clear, on the rocky ground sat an unharmed Aiden, covered in dust and debris. A lifeless, crumpled up body of a Coorawt lay a not too far from Aiden’s feet, a reasonable sized hole was now in the monsters neck. A dark figure loomed over the beast; the dying sound of a weapon that had discharged rang loudly in the blonde’s ear, deafening him.

The brunette held his breathe, noticing the dark figure, he slowly put down his gun, “No way-It’s-“

“The Dark Warrior…” the other breathed.

Player One.

His suit made an airy, hissing sound with every movement the teen made, as if it was breathing with its master. His body was as dark as the shadows in the night, which explained why he was known as, “The Dark Warrior.” If it wasn't for the streaks of green energy marking Player One’s armor, he would have easily disappeared into his surroundings.

The dark figure planted his foot firmly on top of the Blue Coorawt’s head, whose blue lights on its body were already beginning to fade.

“Red Player, Fourteen Ninety-One,” a strong, metallic voice addressed the blonde; the dark figures green visor was now facing in Aiden’s direction.

“Fourteen Ninety-“

“You were ordered by your superiors to Log Out of the System, but, I see you are still-here with the others, despite your orders.” His voice was calm as he spoke, but had a firm tone to it as he stared right at the blonde.

If Player One was not wearing that mask, Aiden could have sworn that he was glaring accusingly at him.

“Yeah…what about it? It’s not like we are actually going to die, this is just a game after all! We would just loose a-“

“I don’t think you understand how dire the situation is Fourteen Ninety-One,” The dark figure said as calmly as possible, interrupting Aiden, “The Safety Locks are down on the V.G.S. You would not just loose a Virtual Life Red Player…you can lose your real life as well. Don’t think this is just some ordinary “Game,” Player Fourteen Ninety-One-“

“Stop calling me by my number! I have an actual name you know-It’s Aiden!” the blonde shouted back, feeling slightly hot under the collar for being referred to as “just a number,” over and over. Uneasiness began to prick his skin as he soon started to regret interrupting Player One.

The world grew silent for a moment; the only sound was from Player One’s suit as it began to click rapidly, as though it was processing what Aiden had just said. The blonde’s chest felt heavy as he turned his green eyes toward the ground, away from Player One’s cold stare.

“…You are a liability Red Player. If you cannot show respect to your superiors by following orders and be here when your team needs you…you have no right to be in this Tournament.” This time Player One spoke, there was a low growl in his throat. “You didn't just endanger your life, but the life of your Team as well.”

“Now, Log Out Red Players and get yourselves back to the-”

The rest of his voice began to become garbled up in a loud static, as the System was beginning to shut down. The world around the team and Player One began to disintegrate as Aiden’s two team mates ran to his side.

“Aiden! You are not dead! You okay man?” the brunette said, grabbing onto Aiden’s shoulders, he hoisted him up and off the grid like flooring.

“Yes…”

Aiden’s green hues locked with Player One’s green visor before his signal cut off in a sharp white static.

“…I’m fine.”

I actually finished coloring this some days ago, but I had to write up the story, I also had little drive to actually upload it (And now I am in a writer’s block and an artist’s block. Yaaayyy. ) My computer is also been acting up more so lately, freezing, skipping music and not letting me work with Photoshop.

I am so tempted to make Seth's suit in this is Bio Suit in the main story XD Sadly, I really don’t like this picture

So, what's the deal with this picture?

This picture is based off a dream I had of Seth and Aiden back on July 26th of this year. My dream was in Aiden's POV and was about Aiden being an "Amateur" gamer. He really wanted to be the best and be better than the reigning champion, known as "Player One." No one knew what he looked like beyond the game and he only appeared when the Tournament or Promotions for the game were around. Aiden and his two best friends trained together on the low level V.G.S. (Virtual Gaming System) at the Arcade so they could enter the V.G. (Virtual Gamers) Tournament and hopefully get to the level Player One was at. After lots of hard work, the three were able to get a spot in the games. However, the day of the event, Aiden over slept and his two team mates had to go on without him. Because of his tardiness, they wouldn't let Aiden into the System at first. However, Aiden was able to eventually Log In, just in time to see his two buddies hiding out in the ruins of the battlefield. They had got out numbered and had almost lost the tournament because of Aiden and so, were rightfully mad at him for being so irresponsible. Coorawts flew overhead and were taking out the other Players at a rapid rate. (They looked like my Gry-funs, but were built differently body wise and also had wings)

The System ended up glitching, making the Players vulnerable to attacks that could actually hurt them in the real world. All the Players were told to start Logging Out of the System right away because of the error, but Aiden’s Team was sooo close to actually beating this game. Despite the protests from his two Team Mates, they stayed in the V.G.S with Aiden, believing there was no real danger and it was all just part of the game play. However, when the Coorawts started to attack the three and taking out half of Aiden’s mask, leaving cuts on his face, they started to question if the game was indeed, corrupt. Before they could Log Out, Aiden burned the wings off of an attacking Coorawt, which ended up charging him. Player One or “Seth,” ended up saving him and his Team Mates and told them to get out of the V.G.S

The dream was longer, but after that, the dream switched over to a totally different one. Some of these ideas I am most likely going to incorporate into their actual story.
Nyeeehhhhh, I don’t want to make this another story with them! XDD Maybe it can just stay in my head like so many others and grow in there. There were originally supposed to be Aiden's two team mates in the picture as well, but I thought it would get too crowded if I added them. They are also “Red Players,” which is the lowest class of Players known in the V.G.W. (Virtual Gaming World) and are both in the actual story with Aiden as well.
