"Don't push it Reeves-they are still around here."
"Ah come on Seth, what's the point of living if I can't have a little fun with them? I know the Hunger Games is serious business and stuff, but I get bored just waiting for that "special-someone" to cut my throat...ya know?"
"No. Unlike you, I am not a friggin' lunatic with a death wish Reeves."
Tried to upload this last night, but my computer failed me. I think it's dying, soooo if I go missing for awhile, its because my computer is dead
I bet some of you are horribly confused as to why Aiden is now in District 4 instead of District 12 like in this picture [link] (which I have changed now xDD) He just fit better into this District
Aiden went through a lot of titles until I could decide which one to use XDD Those included, "The Lost, The Hope, The Fisherman, The Rebel, The Brave, The Hero, etc." Fighter I decided to go with because...well, he is a fighter to be able to live through the Hunger Games
And I attached the two brother drawings~!

Aiden's eyes became slits as he starred out onto the landscape, beginning to grow weary of watching.
Grass.
Boring.
Tree.
Boring.
Silence.
So very boring.
Aiden's mouth opened wide with a yawn, making sure that he made no noise as to not upset Seth or Fina.

After hours of keeping watch, Fina could tell that this was practically torture for the little psycho. Glancing over her shoulder to see him give a wide yawn. She rolled her eyes and sighed carefully picking her way to him. "You and Seth can take a break. I took a short nap so i can take over.", she whispered, nudging his shoulder.

Wait, how long had it been just staring at the grass? Those kids probably had moved off by now.
Blinking the sleep from his eyes, he heard a whisper from Fina the came just next to him. Scratching his nose, Aiden replied in a half yawn, "You sure?" He shuffled to a better position, feeling his legs going uncomfortably numb from sitting for so long.

Fina nodded to him with a grin, burying the head her hand-made spear in the dirt. "Of course. And besides" she then prodded him in the ribs playfully, "It looks to me like you both could use a quick nap." She almost laughed to herself but held it in as she took her place to keep watch, scaling the large tree with some difficulty. Her limbs ached from constant movement as she climbed, stopping at a thick and well covered branch. "Toss me the spear." she tried to talk as quietly as possible, keeping her ears open for any movement.

"If you say so! As long as you can handle it alone that is," Aiden pipped, standing up, he stretched his aching limbs. It was a bit too obvious that he was happy to be able to get some rest.
"It looks to me like you both could use a quick nap," Fina hinting heavily on the word, "both."
Seth's head snapped up immediately at the comment, he glared at the back of Fina's head for a second before standing up himself. Aiden watched as Fina moved herself up the tree.
"Toss me the spear," Fina asked.
"Oh-sure!" Aiden almost yelled, but he caught himself before he could do so. Aiden pulled the shaft out of the ground and rolled in around in his hands, moving it back and forth from hand to hand, trying to figure out how he was going to throw it to her. He ended up with the spear end facing towards her.
"Give me that Aiden, all you are gonna do is impale her," Seth snorted, taking the spear from Aiden, he tossed it up at her in one swift motion. Aiden's lips protruded and his eyebrows furrowed, displeased that Seth had taken the spear from him.

Fina quickly put her finger to her mouth as Aiden began to speak, catching his attention to say, "SHH!" She watched with half annoyance and entertainment as Aiden struggled to decide exactly how to toss the thing. Although the hilarity quickly vanished as he decided on sending the sharp end at her. She heaved a sigh of relief as Seth snatched the spear and tossed it, Fina catching it with one hand and hold onto the branch with the other. "Thank you.", she whispered, sarcasm etched in her voice from almost being impaled. She then almost giggled at Aiden's face as he showed his displeasure for the spear being taken.

"I could have done it myself Seth, I am not stupid enough to throw it spear first!" Aiden complained quietly, shoving his shoulder into the ebony haired teen's back. Seth held his ground, as if Aiden never touched him.
"Tch, right," Seth growled at the blonde, turning to go towards the place where they had set up a base, "You can't even throw a spear straight Reeves-"
"Ugh, Fina, you gonna be okay up there?" Aiden asked annoyed, cutting off Seth before he could say anything else.

Fina grinned and rolled her eyes as the boys spat at each other, waiting patiently for it to sub-side as it always seemed to do.
"Typical...", she sighed, shifting her position to better her view.
She looked back down as Aiden called up to her, asking if she was going to be ok. She nodded quickly in response, not liking looking down for too long which reminded her high high she exactly was.
"Yeah. I'll be able to get a better view from here. trust me. I've been told that i have the eyes of a hawk and the ears of a fox.", she joked confidently, turning back to the open brush.
She couldn't see very far due to the dense undergrowth, but she could definitely see better from up here than down on the ground.
It was a couple hours of sitting, and watching, and waiting. Boring as all get out but certainly necessary for survival. She had kept watch for what seemed like a long time, shifting positions to easy her soreness and keep her awake.
Another 2 hours. Nothing. Everything was...quiet. Too quiet for Fina's liking. She sat up and rubbed her burning eyes, fighting the sleep that wanted to take over.
"Why is it so quiet?...", she whispered to herself, glaring through the dense trees.
She craned her head to look down on the two still forms of Seth and Aiden. Aiden seemed to be out like a light, but she knew better for Seth. He seemed to be the light sleeper of the two. She watched them a bit longer until a small rustling interrupted her thoughts, making her turn and look out towards the south. Not a single creature made a sound as she stared into the trees, gripping her spear with her long fingers.
Suddenly, she saw him. A dark growl formed in her throat,
"Kade..."
She had to move quickly, his little band of rouges were coming far too close for comfort. She scaled back down the trunk and landed with a slight thud, kneeling down to the boys and nudging them.
"Seth. Aiden. Wake up." she urged, shaking their shoulders.

"Yeah. I'll be able to get a better view from here. trust me. I've been told that i have the eyes of a hawk and the ears of a fox."
Aiden smiled wearily at the girl that sat in the tree's above. He could barely see her silhouette against the leaves of the tree tops, not even the virtual "night sky" showed through the thick coverage.
Turning away, the blonde walked a couple meters before he collapsed on the ground right next to where Seth already lay. Crossing his arms across his chest, Aiden curled in a tight ball, his back against Seth's like usual.
"Good night Fina.....and Seth."
"Mmm," Aiden felt the boy's throat rumble in response.
Aiden's eyes grew heavier from sleep and before he knew it, he was being ingulfed by the darkness.
Dreams.
Dreams are a nice thing to have.
Unless that is, you are in a place where everyone is out to kill you-
Then all you are going to be having is nightmares.
Aiden was awoken by a sudden, violent shaking to his body. His green hues snapped open in terror as he stared upon the face that was causing it, almost jumping out of his skin from the fright.
"HM! Wha-what is it Fina? Aiden stuttered, shaken up from being awoken so suddenly from a deep sleep.
Seth was immediately on his feet, a wild look was in his eye as he starred off into the darkness of the forest. Aiden, however, was lying flat on his back, where his only support, Seth, had once been. Sometime during the night, he had propped himself against the dark haired teen while he was still asleep.
"Jeez Seth- a little warning next time please?" Aiden hissed lightly, trying to get back the breathe that was knocked so aggressively out of him. Sending a glare towards Seth, the blonde eased himself gently off the ground, propping himself up with his elbows in the grass. Looking to Fina, Aiden could see the desperate look on her face, but his mind was still foggy from sleep, so his brain couldn't process the urgency of what was going on.
((Oh gosh, I had to freaking re-write this 3 times because my computer blue screened on me >< Stupid thing, I don't think I even got down what I originally wrote))

"Hush Aiden!", she whispered harshly, holding his shoulder so Seth's sudden leap wouldn't make him slam his head.
She looked from Seth to the trees and pulled Aiden in a sitting position,"We gotta move. Now."
She urged Aiden to get up when her head snapped back in Jenner's direction, barely hearing his deep, snide voice over the chatter of others. She could feel the slight prickling of panic in her stomach, but forced it down as she hauled the blonde to his feet.
"Seth, there's too many to fight. Let's head to the river."
She pulled her spear from the dirt and began the trek, trying to keep to the thick tree roots than the noisy leaves. After a good distance she stopped and turned to look over her shoulder, making sure the boys were following.
"Try to keep out of the leaves.", she whispered, watching the trees behind them with weary eyes.

Aiden's mouth clamped tightly shut in a frown at the order. Glancing towards Seth, he noticed that his body was tense and alert as Fina talked to him.
"Did I miss something?" he asked quietly, his eye brows furrowed in confusion as he was lifted to his feet by the strong girl. She pulled her spear out of the dirt and began to quietly walk through the forest. Seth however, held his ground next to Aiden, grabbing his shoulders, he gave him a gentle shove so the blonde could get moving.
"What is going-?"
Seth put his fingers to his lips, in a polite way of saying, "Shut the hell up idiot," his eyes serious as he kept glancing behind him.
"Try to keep out of the leaves."
Wait.
Aiden was confused now. He was still tired and had just been awoken from a very deep, and NICE sleep. Now they were quietly sneaking through the forest-
Then he heard it.
Voices.
They weren't any of his 2 companions voices, no, they were someone elses.
He finally got it.
"The hell Fina? By this time, no one is traveling around at night! We should have been safe until morn-"

"That's what I thought too.", she whispered stepping lightly onto a large root. "But Kade is a smart bastard." She growled under her breath as she spoke his name,"Gotta give him credit for that..."
Fina knew herself that what Jenner was doing was low, but smart. Trying to catch any unlucky tribute off guard while sleeping?
Cowardly.
But still smart.
She shook her to take her mind off him and focus, feeling anger replace the panic in her stomach. From the minute she laid eyes on that guy, she hated him.
After another good distance of sneaking and jumping, she glanced over her shoulder, grinning as she spied Seth walking behind Aiden. She couldn't help but like the black haired teen. Yeah, he can be a bit harsh, but he seemed trustworthy and nice....in his own way.
It felt like forever to her when she finally heard the rushing water, stopping to listen for anymore voices. She strained to hear against the crashing water, giving up and leaping to the forest edge, staring out at the water in a crouch.
"Ok, this is it." She was free to speak normally now, the rushing current overpower any other sound nearby. But its a double-edged sword. She glared through the thin strip of green separating them from the bank.
(( That's ok. >3 I'm patient and mine is kinda short again so you can be short too! lol ))

Kade?
Aiden's bottom lip stuck out as he thought over that name.
Who was Kade again?
He couldn't remember.
Like he would actually pay attention and remember the names of the tributes that he would most likely kill.
Or kill him-
But who was Kade? Was that the blonde from District 3-?
His lips tugged at the corners of his mouth the more he thought about it. At the amount of frowning he had been doing lately, at this rate, he was going to get wrinkles-
"Ok, this is it."
"Hm?" Aiden blinked, practically running into the back of Fina as he was brought back to reality. An over powering sound of churning, rushing water deafened him immediately, making him cringe.
"Why the river?" Aiden tried to say, but the noise was drowning out his voice as he tried to talk to Fina, "this is too risky...all the tributes know you shouldn't get too near this place, because it's the most obvious place to go to-"
"And get killed," Seth interupted, his eyes darted around him for any sign of movement.

She only gave a sly grin in response as she turned her head to look at the pair, "Exactly."
Fina knew what she was doing was very risky, but necessary to have a chance to get rid of or at least split Kade's little group. She took a minute to let the idea sink in for them and look around more closely at the area from the forest edge. She knew better than to set a single foot on the horribly exposed shore.
"Seth. Aiden. You guys head back into the trees up near that ledge. I have an idea."
She stared at them with confidence in her gaze,"Trust me on this one."

"Seth. Aiden. You guys head back into the trees up near that ledge. I have an idea."
"Whatever you say Fina!" Aiden pipped enthusiastically, immediately scrambling over a couple trees that lay in his path. The tired feeling he had was gone, a broad smile was now upon his face.
She had a plan!
Which meant, he was not gonna be bored-
Hopefully.
As Aiden ascended up the hill, Seth had leaned himself against a tree, shoulder pressed firmly in place, he eyed the girl a bit suspiciously. Of coarse, Aiden would trust every word she said, they were from the same district. But him, being from another district, especially one that their district "disliked".... it was hard to follow orders from someone that wanted him dead eventually.
But he trusted Aiden...slightly.
And Aiden trusted her. He was like an obedient dog that wanted so bad to please his "owner."
So if Aiden trusted her, I guess he could.
Besides, he didn't think she would go this far just to get him killed-
She could have just not told them that the other Tributes were coming.
That would have settled all her problems there.
But this whole business of going to the river, the one place he knew was a death trap to get near-
Seth's cold eyes starred at her for a few moments, his mind raced. Not uttering a word of reluctance, he turned and hiked up the hill after Aiden.
Seth's instincts told him to stay out of sight, lay low and eventually, everyone would eventually kill each other-
And the ones that were left, he could easily take out, because they would either be horribly injured already, or sick.
This was not going according to what he had originally planned.
(Haha, oh no D:!!! Slllaaavvvveee D:!!!! And this rp I think is a bit different than the others lol)

Fina knew Seth didn't trust her.
Good.
In this new arena, trusting someone fully was a death sentence. She worried about Aiden being so trusting as she watched them climb the small ravine into the trees, turning back to face the rushing river.
"Ok, that other group of morons headed in this direction...", she whispered to herself as she glanced at the faint tracks. She glanced behind her as rustling began to pierce through the sound of water, followed by voices. Kade knew he was on someone's trail.
She searched up and down the river as Jenner's voice boomed to the others to "Shut the hell up!", shrinking towards the fallen log the previous group used to cross. She crawled on top of the tree just as Kade's little group broke through the brush, standing up and taking off at a dead run just as she was spotted.
"That's right. Follow me." She teased them in her mind as she leaped off the log and back into the forest, headed straight in the direction of the other group.
(( Ooooh i like the change >3 Makes it more interesting ))

Aiden exhaled, plopping himself down against the stone, finally making it to ravine that Fina told him to go. Seth moved past him, his jacket brushed against Aiden's bare arm as he took his place on the opposite side of the rock face. There, he crouched down with not even so much as a glance at blonde.
But Aiden didn't notice, he was too focused on Fina's figure down below him.
Whew. Now all he had to do was wait for Fina to give the order and-
"Shut the hell up!"
Aiden's ears perked as he heard a gruff, gravely voice from where he and Seth once were. He froze instantly, not wanting to make a sound as he strained to listen to other voices.
That's not Fina...
Oh no! Fina!
"They followed us?!" Aiden whispered harshly, seeing the group of Tributes burst through the under brush.
"Tch, you are actually surprised-what do you think they were going to do? Completely ignore the obvious trail we made and go play with a nest of Tracker Jackers? They are not STUPID you know-" Seth sarcastically answered, his eyes were un-moving as he stared at was was unfolding below.
They had spotted her. An older girl tribute and a couple mid-teen boy tributes were whooping and hollering at Fina, now hot on her trail as their feet trampled the vegetation around the bank of the river. Their voices cooed at her to come back and they laughed with enjoyment as they began to hunt her down, weapons drawn.
She was leading them back into the forest, but....why-
Seth's eyes suddenly widened a bit, realizing what she was planning, he smirked a bit.
He understood now. Smart. Ugh, he should have figured it out sooner-
"LEAVE FINA ALONE-" Aiden yelled. Chucking a large rock he was holding in his hand at one of the straggling pursuers, he hit him square in the skull, making him stubble over a bit in shock.
Oh son of a-
Seth lunged at Aiden, grabbing him from behind, he cupped his hand over his mouth to keep him silent as he dropped out of sight. All the while, Aiden was trying to fight him back, his words muffled in Seth's hand saying how Fina was in danger, Fina needed his help, blah blah bllaaah.
"DAMN IT REEVES," Seth hissed in his ear, hearing the Tribute Aiden hit moan and cry out in pain,"BE QUIET!"
He could hear the Tribute curse as he trekked up the hill after them with another set of footsteps close behind, repeating the words, "I am going to FREAKING KILL YOU-"
"That, by far, was the STUPIDEST thing you have ever done!" Seth scolded, trying to keep his voice down as the pair moved towards their position.
Seth's whole body pressed against the rocky wall as far as he could, hoping that he could disappear into its dark crevice, he still held onto Aiden, not daring to let him go and give away his hiding spot.
Dead.
They were SO dead.

"DAMMIT AIDEN!", she screamed in her head as she streamed through the brush and away from the river.
Fina barely heard his voice over the hoops and hollers of Kade's group as she ran, glancing over her should to see them hot on her tail. She prayed that Aiden didn't get noticed, but her gut said otherwise, sending a slight chill up her spine.
It seemed like she was running forever until she glimpsed them. The other group of Tributes heard Kade's hollering and turned to face her as she burst through the trees, skidding to slow her momentum and dart to their left back into the brush.
"Fight someone your own size, Kade.", she laughed, pushing herself off stones and over a rise. She stopped and turned to see the fruits of her labor, seeing the two opposing groups focus on each other rather than her.
"Wait...1, 2, 3,....Where are the others?!"
A chill settled in her gut as she spun on her heals back towards the river. Her legs burned, screaming to stop and rest, pounding back towards the rendezvous.
"Aiden you IDIOT!"
Fina's knuckles turned white from gripping her spear so hard, smacking the plants away as she barreled through them.
"You guys better be alright..."

Advantage.
One Tribute already injured, the other, probably not strong enough to fight him off.
Disadvantage.
Weaponless. One stupid tribute for back up, the other, missing. Opposing Tributes were heavily armed and ready to kill.
Greaaatttt...
Seth's breathing was shallow as he clutched Aiden against him. He still had his hands over his mouth, by now, Aiden had quit fighting, going awfully silent as he realized what he had gotten himself-and Seth into. Aiden's heart beat pounded loudly, tuning out all other sounds around him. It was so loud he prayed that the two Tributes would not be able to hear it.
What was he going to do?
I don’t think I have ever been this afraid in my life!
What have I done?
What happened to Fina?
Seth could feel the fear radiating off of the blonde in waves, but he had to admit...he was afraid too, which was rare. His chest tightened with every step the yowling tribute took as he grew closer and closer to his position.
For once, this was probably something Seth could not get himself out of.
And that’s what he feared the most.
As they drew closer, Seth shifted his position, backing up deeper into the crevice of the rock with Aiden. However, the pebbles underneath them grinded against the rock lightly under their boots, trying to give away their position. He could practically hear them screaming, “HERE! HERE THEY ARE! COME AND GET THEM!!!”
Be quiet.
They MUST be quiet.
By now, he could hear their gargled voices and smell the rank tang of fresh blood. He could see the shimmer of their blades in the darkness as the un-injured Tribute silenced the bloodied teen, saying that he could hear something. Aiden’s hairs stood on end as he starred fearfully at the pair. Seth’s forehead wrinkled, his eyes shimmered in the shadows.
They were getting way too close for comfort.
At this rate, they would find them. If Seth didn't move soon he and Aiden would be cornered and slaughtered.
Well, I guess if he was going to die, he rather die fighting rather than being cornered like an animal and be killed.
At least that was something he could decide.
He had made his decision. Seth aggressively pushed Aiden behind him where he once hid. Aiden, needless to say was shocked, letting out a startled yelp in surprise, he drew in a sharp breathe, “What the hell are you doing-?!”
No turning back now!
The bloodied Tribute had heard Aiden and turned to look towards where the voice came from, but it was too late. The black haired teen charged towards him, ramming his body against his, he knocked him into the wall behind him with a sickening crack of bones shattering. Blood from his head wound that Aiden had inflicted splashed on Seth’s arm, as he whipped around, now with a sword in hand from his victim.
One down.
The other Tribute that was with the elder one panicked, a horrified look came upon his face as Seth lunged at him like a wild animal. Hackles raised and jaw clenched, Seth pulled his sword back and swung it at him. But the boy was quick and drew his sword in time, the sound of metal clashed as they came together.
But he was weak, and Seth noticed his hands started to shake under the pressure.
He could actually win this after all-
“FA-WHIP.”
Seth was almost knocked off his feet as he was flung back, a searing pain burned in his shoulder, making Seth gasp. A silver arrow was lodged in his right shoulder blade, making his sword wielding arm totally useless as the Tribute slung his sword at him again, striking his forearm Seth used to block. Seth stumbled backwards, blinded by the pain, he tripped over the body of the other tribute he had just taken out moments ago. He was being quickly overwhelmed as the tables turned. It happened so fast, that Aiden had no time to react as he watched Seth get hit over and over.
He was being carved up like a piece of steak.
He had to do something!
Or Seth would surely die.
Then he would be next.
((It's suddenly a Seth POV RP XDD How did that happen
It was! Thankfully it over now and I am heading home tomorrow!
Haha XDD Well keep on trying! Happy with them is sooo hard
!!
Yes xD Aiden took a whole day to complete yesterday, Seth took me only an hour or so to get exact ._. I might draw a couple drawings based on our rp's we have done as well xDD))

Fina could barely hear the slashing of a sword against flesh, stopping short on the river bank. Shock of the scene before her covered her face. Seth's blood covered the rocky ravine, the Tributes enjoying their ruthlessness. She felt her blood begin to boil, curling her fingers around her spear with a vice-like grip. Then, she cracked.
"GRAHHHH!"
Fina's eyes blazed with blind fury as she dropped down on the Tribute, impaling him easily through the back and out his chest. Her cry was almost a roar as she dropped him, turning towards the other Tribute with blood lusting eyes.
"I'm gonna KILL YOU!", she roared, snatching the sword and scaling the ravine with frightening speed.
Fina lost all of her senses as she rushed him, baring her teeth in a snarl. The boy tried to run, but it was futile. She dropped down on top of him, crushing him into the dirt. The sword hit flesh, driving through his back and through his heart, a growl escaping Fina's lips.
"Shouldn't have run...Coward."
She then yanked the sword from his body and walked back to her previous victim, rage still burning in her fire colored eyes. He coughed and sputtered, the wound she inflicted not giving him an immediate death. Fina was on him in an instant, slashing the sword across his stomach.
"You piece of SHIT." she snarled, watching him bleed and yowl in pain.
"I'm gonna make you suffer...."
((DAMN! Fina's pissed! O.o The funny thing is, is that she's not like that at all, the Games slowly bring out her angry side lol >3 And i'm gonna draw and post Fina, that way you can know at least what she looks like >< ))

Seth’s vision was blurred by a red liquid that ran into his eyes, but he could see that someone attacked the Tribute he was fighting. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Canon Fire blasted through the sky, signaling his death.
Good.
His heart was beating at a rapid rate, with every pulsation blood seemed to flow from his many cuts. Exhausted, his sword clattered to the ground as he stumbled back against the rocks. Seth felt dizzy and hot as he breathed heavily. He closed his eyes tightly as a rushing pain filled his body, his jaw clenched as a hissing sound escaped through his teeth.
Do not cry out Seth!
DON’T SHOW THAT YOU ARE WEAK-
He screamed mentally at himself not to, but the pain was UNBEARABLE.
Seth could taste the blood in his mouth, he craned his neck and let out a choked scream, still trying to hold it back as he pushed the back of his head against the stone.
“SETH! Oh jeez Seth, stay still-you are going to be okay! Just DON’T MOVE,” Aiden was right at his side, but seeing Seth in this condition made him horribly distraught as he let out an agonized whine. The arrow was still lodged in his shoulder, gulping, Aiden's outstretched fingers lightly touched the end that was in contact with his jacket and skin.
Seth could hear the humming of someone’s voice in his ears. He could not make out what they were saying to him as he felt their touch and instantly, he let out another moaning cry, making Aiden draw back in fear that he may hurt him more. The blonde clutched his head, tugging on his hair as he looked down toward the ground; his face was red as he felt tears come to his eyes.
Seth‘s body had many gashes and many were bleeding quite heavily as his now dull, unfocused eyes looked upon the upset teen. Seth couldn’t see him, but he could feel that Aiden was there. His stomach churned from the pain as he heaved, Seth’s body trembled horribly as he did so.
Aiden's dirtied face was streaked with fresh tears as he watched Seth cry out again and writhe in agony. Seth opened his mouth to speak, but it quickly slammed shut again as his body shuddered and heaved once more.
It was his fault. Seth should have told him what he was going to do! They could have fought together!
This was just too much.
Aiden drew in a sharp breathe as he heard another cry, just behind him.
Fina!
Aiden stood up quickly, looking at Seth once more, he shook his head and ran down the hill. Aiden came to a skidding halt, seeing that Fina was attacking the Tribute that had shot Seth in the first place. His heart felt like it was going to beat out of his chest as he witnessed the scene.
The Tribute was in obvious pain, he squirmed on the ground where Fina had pinned him. He had large open gashes in him, a lot like Seth’s. The Tribute looked to him, his eyes were filled with fear as he coughed, “Make her stop-please!”
Aiden just stood there, his bright green eyes stared at the Tribute as he yowled.
"Just kill em already!" he cried.
"Stop!” Aiden said in almost a whisper, but it grew louder and louder as he pleaded with Fina.
“There is no need to torture him! They are just like us-he was just protecting his comrade-they are just fighting to stay alive-PLEASE.”
Frustration built up in his chest as the tears flowed from his reddened eyes.
It was all his fault. If he had stay hidden like Seth ALWAYS said, there would not have been this much violence this day.
((Freakin scary Fina is SCARY xDDD!!!! Yay! ))

Fina raised the sword to strike the trembling, bleeding boy once more.
She Froze.
Aiden's plea ripped through her heart like a jagged knife, causing her blind fury to cease. All she could do was stare down at what she had done, dropping the sword and almost stumbling back.
"What...What have I..."
She couldn't believe what she had done. HER. Tearing someone apart like this. Blood everywhere. She glanced back at Aiden with shock, her eyes once again their bright Topaz hue. Her heart nearly stopped. Aiden's face streamed with tears, causing streaks through the small specks of dirt on his cheeks.
"Aiden..I..."
Her voice was almost a whisper. She wanted so bad to say sorry, but it didn't seem like nearly enough. She shut her eyes and turned back to the Tribute, still trembling at her feet. Bending down to him, she picked up the sword with weak fingers.
"Forgive me....I'll make this quick."
It was all she say as she raised the weapon and drove it into the boy's heart, quickly shutting her eyes and turning away, jogging back to Seth with haste. She didn't even hesitate as she went to work, taking out her knife and cutting Seth's jacket to allow it to be taken off, sliding the fabric over the shaft as gently as she could.
"Dammit...Aiden! I need your help.", she ordered, trying to urge Seth to his feet.
"We need to get away from this area so the others don't find us. Can you help me carry him?"
Fina still hadn't dared to look at her friend, afraid of what she might see in those green hues. Shame. That's all she felt.

”Ba-boom.”
The blonde shut his eyes tightly to the sound, a few more tears escaped from his eyes as he did so.
That recognizable canon fire that told all the Tributes that another had fallen.
He hated that sound.
Aiden’s gaze was now facing towards the ground, away from mess Fina had made.
He felt a slight breeze as Fina speedily passed him, heading back up the hill where Seth was left behind. A rush of worry spread over him immediately, remembering that Seth was possibly dying or even dead at the top of that ravine.
His heart twisted in his chest, he didn’t want to see him like this, Aiden couldn’t handle the sight of him suffering. But Seth needed help and it was his fault, so he dug his feet into the roughed up terrain and proceeded to head up towards those rocks.
”Please, don’t let this be his grave, let him still be alive-”
To his surprise, as Aiden reached where he had left him, seeing Seth was still alive. Fina was already hovering over him, removing his tattered up jacket, Seth’s legs jerked around like he was trying to run as she did so, a pained low wail came from his dry throat. Aiden believed that in the condition he left him in, he would most certainly be dead.
"Dammit...Aiden! I need your help."
Aiden immediately rushed to Seth’s side, not daring to look at Fina as he did so. He set all his focus on Seth, hoping it would take away-or at least hide the uncomfortable feeling he had about her.
Fina tried to urge Seth to his feet, but the moment she tried to grab hold of him, he only cried out in more pain, pulling back his weak arms from her, he tried to hiss at her, but it came out as a weak begging cry, “Leave me-AUGH.”
Seth was losing strength. His eyes fluttered as white spots appeared where the blurred shapes were. Their voices were still garbled and muffled, blood rushed through his ears making it difficult to make out what they were saying. But by the way they moved he knew they were trying to help him.
"We need to get away from this area so the others don't find us. Can you help me carry him?"
Just leave me here-you idiots-I’m dying…they are going to get you if you stay…
It was the way of a District 2 warrior. He had fulfilled his purpose, just leave him there to fight alone now. After all, he was stupid enough not to expect the other Tribute covering for the others.
Seth yowled as Aiden wrapped his arms around the ebony haired man, his neck acted as a crutch, placing it underneath his arm pit as the older teen thrashed on him, his blood oozed out the more he moved, staining Aiden’s shirt and skin.
“NNAAAUUUUGGGHHHH.”
Aiden shut his eyes as Seth almost pulled him back down on the ground with him, “Seth please, just relax-we are only trying to help you!”
But it was useless.
He was losing too much blood and he was losing hope.
Seth’s breathing was still rapid, but moment by moment, it was starting to grow weaker and shallower. The torture he was feeling was getting worse and worse the more they moved him. Aiden tried to steady him back on him, but his feet were dragging, unwilling to move. Seth couldn’t fight anymore. All the strength left his body as Aiden and Fina started to move him out of the rocky crevice. The world around him went black.
Aiden’s heart stopped.
“Oh God-is he-“ Aiden choked. He couldn’t make himself say it as Seth’s body went limp.
No-no-no-no-no! He couldn’t be dead! He just couldn’t!

"SETH!"
Fina began to panic as she set him back down on the grass, hovering over him with wide eyes as a massive rock shielded them from sight.
"Aiden. Take the canister and go get water. Hurry!"
Her heart was pounding as she ripped open Seth shirt, hissing as she eyed all the terrible cuts. Trying to get her mind from spinning she set to work, using his shirt as a a tourniquet for a massive gash on his side.
"Dammit...What's that plant called. Ah! Yarrow!", she said almost triumphantly, turning and grabbing a handful from her pocket. Shit. She counted the stalks and cursed under her breath as she ripped them up, crushed them in her hands, and stuffed them into Seth's worst wounds. She was almost done with a jagged side wound as Aiden returned.
"This plant should help stop the bleeding. Ugh..Come on Seth. You're NOT done yet."
She then moved to his shoulder, flinching as she peeled back the blood-soaked shirt. She eyed the wound a bit longer before daring to look at Aiden, holding back her own tears.
"Aiden, start a small fire under the rock and give me my knife."
Fina hated what she was thinking about doing and she knew Aiden would too, but Seth's life was on the line. Something she would fight to take back.

Aiden’s eyes were red as he and Fina set Seth down on the matted grass.
“He’s just sleeping-right?” Aiden said in a panicked tone as his hands trembled over Seth’s un-moving body, but the girl ignored the question.
"Aiden. Take the canister and go get water. Hurry!”
Wasting no time, he sprinted towards the river bank, his empty canister was in hand as he slipped on the slick muddy surface. Scooping up some water and capping it, he ran back to Fina and Seth practically on all fours as he kept tripping over himself in a race against time. He thrust the bottle at her, breathing heavily as she snatched it from his shaking hands. He knelled down on the opposite side of Seth’s body.
Aiden covered his mouth with his dirtied hand, he bit down on its side, waiting.
Don't be dead-don't be dead, please don't die!
She overlooked the ragged teen and then suddenly froze. Staring at Seth for a while she looked to Aiden sadly, his heart caught up in his throat seeing the look on her face.
The blood was everywhere and Seth’s body was starting to become pale. Seth broken body just lay there, motionless.
"Aiden, start a small fire under the rock and give me my knife."
“Your KNIFE?” Aiden said, almost like he couldn’t believe it himself.
Was she wanting to cauterize his wounds?
Aiden shook his head, shivering; he rocked lightly on the back of his heels. Tears in his eyes, he crawled away, gathering some sticks and dry grass to help with starting a fire. He was crying profusely as he rubbed the sticks and stones together back next to Fina.
Jeez, he was such a cry baby! When did this happen?
He sniffed as the sticks started to smoke.
With a fire like this, it was sure to attract other Tributes to their location. Even if they couldn't see it, they could most likely smell it.

Fina heaved a heavy sigh and picked up the knife, trying to steady herself for what she was about to do. She glanced at Aiden as she held the blade over the fire, hearing his small sniffles and whines. Her heart ached for them both. Her shame of her outrageous actions reflected in her gaze as the blade grew red hot.
"Aiden...Don't look. Ok?"
Aiden has seen enough. She didn't want him to see what she was about to do. She took a deep breath and gripped the arrow, pushing the blade against the shaft and into the wound. She hit the arrow head with the blade and gently pulled, very carefully drawing the arrow out of Seth's flesh. It took everything she had to steady her shaking fingers. Her nerves were a wreck. Finally she pulled out the bloodied arrow, washing it out with the last of her own canister, and quickly stuffing the last of the Yarrow into the wound.
"Put out the fire now. Its been lit too long as it is."
Her voice was bit shaky as she poured water over the knife, the liquid quickly turning to hissing steam. Her fingers still shook as she washed her hands with the last bit of water.
"I need to get more Yarrow. Along with Feverfew and Peppermint."
She shook her hands and turned to face Aiden, worry written all over her face.
"Aiden, I'm gonna need you to watch him while i'm gone."
Fina spoke softly, hiding her anxiety well. She stared at Aiden for a long minute before embracing him tightly, trying not to cry.
"It'll be ok....", That was all she could manage to say as she stood up, turned away, and disappeared back into the trees.

Aiden instinctively grabbed onto Seth's open palm that lay lifeless in the dirt. Even though he was out cold, it was the only thing Aiden could do, if not for Seth, then for himself as he smelt the burning flesh. His face screwed up at the horrible smell, he grasped tighter onto his hand, feeling guilty for having Seth having to endure all this suffering because of him.
It's your fault Aiden.
More bitter tears ran out of his eyes, not looking once at Fina.
"Quit the crying Reeves and suck it up!"
Yeah.
That's what Seth would say if he saw him like this.
"Put out the fire now. Its been lit too long as it is."
Letting go of Seth's hand, Aiden blinked the tears out of his eyes as he slowly shuffled over to the fire, kicking dirt over it to extinguish it.
"Ssssttt," he heard the knife sizzle as Fina poured the water onto it. The blonde heard her say something, but he tuned it out as he stared at the pile of smoldering wood. He felt a sudden embrace around him, but it soon disappeared and Aiden was left cold and alone again.
Out the corner of his eye, he saw Fina walk into the trees and disappear.
It was silent as Aiden was left there with his thoughts. The sun was starting to peak over the horizon ,bathing the forest with a soft orange light. Aiden glanced over to Seth, pulling himself across the grass he sat next to his torso. Eyes narrowed, he put the side of his face against Seth's chest, searching for the sound for a heart beat to confirm that he was indeed still alive. He was reassured by a very faint heart beat, but he let out a mournful squeaky moan as he rested his forehead against the ebony haired teens chest. His blonde bloodied locks draped Seth's pale skin, his fingers intertwined together in a ball, he placed them against his lips.
"I'm sorry Seth..." he could barely say the words as they caught up in his throat.
I'm so sorry.

Tears dotted Fina's face as she walked, hand clasped over her face to stifle her whines. It had been over three hours since she left them and already she felt sick with worry.
"Oh suck it up, Fina! Stop your sniveling before someone hears you."
She cursed at herself as she forced down the sobs, whipping her face and glaring ahead with forced determination. Then, she saw them. Every medicinal plant she needed, lay at her feet in an open field. She halted. Far too open field.
"Great."
She crouched in the brush and scanned the area around her, watching for any traps or movement of any kind. Nothing. At least she hoped. After a good 20 minutes or so, she slowly inched out, still eyeing the trees like a hawk. She made the last few weary steps and began picking the plants as fast as she could. Yarrow. Feverfew. Peppermint. It was all there and even others things like Coltsfoot and Aloe. She stuffed all she needed into her bag and stood up.
Snap!
She began to turn as Fina's breath was knocked out of her. Someone barreled into her, along with a searing pain on her collar bone. She paniced and threw the weight off with surprising strength, stumbling to her feet and taking off into the trees. Again, she was pinned, this time flipping on her back to defend herself from her attacker.
"Where do you think YOU'RE going?!"
The female Tribute hissed, pinning down Fina's arms with her knees.
"Getting plants for your friend? Don't worry. We'll finish him off soon anyway."
Fina curled her lips in a snarl as the Tribute harrassed her, thrashing with all her might to get free. No luck. The Tribute only returned her snarl with a menacing grin, bringing a lance down on her throat. Fina gasped for air as she was slowly choked, staring into the Tribute's feral expression. Then, she remembered.
"My knife! Gotta...Reach..."
She thrashed one more good time, her fingers brushing the hilt in her boot. Finally, her hand gripped around it and in one swift movement, drove into the Tribute's leg. She wailed and Fina saw her opportunity, lefting her legs and kicking the Tribute off and over. She flipped over and leaped to her feet just intime to see the Tribute slide and disappear over a ledge, flinching as a loud thud echoed of the rock walls. Fina fell back on her hands, breathing hard and continued to stare in shock at the cliff. The cannon boomed.
Ba-BOOM!
It was another three hours before she returned to Aiden and Seth, flopping down on her knees next to them.
"Sorry that it took me so long..."
The gash on her collar bone still bled as she reached into back, pulling out the assortment of plants, smooth river stones, and her cantine. She began the tedious process of grinding the plants between the stones when she shoved her cantine towards Aiden.
"You need to drink something too, Aiden..."

"Kur-snap."
Aiden spun around, wary of the sound of a twig snapping in the forest.
What was that?
He listened intently for any other noises in the woods, but after some time of listening, there was nothing. Aiden released the breathe that he held, turning his attention back to Seth.
His condition had not changed much. He was still out cold, barely breathing and never once he moved. Aiden had ripped the sleeves of the messy black tee he was wearing and placed them on the smaller cuts that still bled like a bandage. The larger wounds however, the blood had stopped flowing and was being to clot.
'Seems that plant Fina had really is starting to work,' he thought.
Aiden's eyes traveled Seth's topless upper half, examining all the lesions that boy Tribute had inflicted upon him. He noted there were a couple old cuts as well, from what, Aiden had no idea.
Aiden frowned deeply and let out a sigh.
If Seth had sponsors, he could have gotten some medicine to heal those up really fast...
But the man was stubborn, as Aiden had found out the first time meeting him.
He didn't want anyone's help.
ESPECIALLY those who lived in the Capitol.
The hours drug by and Aiden grew anxious. He had dozed off next to Seth, touching his chest, he got a sudden chill down his spine, realizing how cold he felt. Aiden's brain told him to build a fire to keep Seth warm, but if he did so, it would attract the wrong kind of attention. He looked to the pile of clothes Seth once had on. They were shredded and were still wet with blood, nothing more then rags now.
He needed to find some more clothes for him.
He was also without any means to defend himself.
And Aiden knew where to get both.
They had left their only weapons back at the gorge and his only defense was the pathetic excuse for a pocket knife from his brother gave him that couldn't cut through a stick. Aiden breathed in deeply, then he let the air out as he sighed, realizing what he must do.
If there was possibly going to be any threats, he had to be armed. He was not going to be caught off guard this time.
But first, he had to gather some foliage to hide Seth's body with and keep him warm at the same time.
Not straying far from Seth, he broke branches from young sapplings and gathered leaves from inconspicuous places, as to not give away that they were hiding around the area somewhere. Thankfully, Seth was already well hidden by the massive rock and trees that twisted around him, but Aiden needed a bit more to make him completely invisible to the world.
He neatly placed the branches on top of Seth, feeling for his pulse once more before covering all but his face with the shrubbery.
"There Seth, this should hopefully keep you warm until I come back, "Aiden said in a weary tone as he lightly patted Seth's untidy hair. He had a pulsating headache from crying; he actually had cried so much, he ran out of tears to cry. He then left Seth and headed back towards the ravine.
He knew of some Tributes whose clothes he could...borrow from.
When Aiden arrived, he was thankful that their bodies were still there. He grabbed three swords and a jacket or two from the most cleanly of the Tributes, wrapping the weapons tightly up in the cloth to carry it easier. He stopped momentarily, looking down at the Tribute that Fina had tortured before killing.
His hairs stood on end as he suddenly heard voices. He quickly ducked behind some rocks, peering over the tops to see where they were coming from. The two Tributes conversed with each other, recognizing them immediately as the two that had chased after Fina.
"One girl Tribute...the other a male..." Aiden whispered to himself as he watched them from his hiding spot. Clutching onto his supplies against his chest, he started to creep down the hill, hoping to slip away from the two.
"What useless things," the girl complained, kicking the body of the Tribute Seth had killed, "Couldn't even stand up to a couple weaklings, ha."
Aiden cringed, disgusted about how much respect they showed the dead.
"OH JEEZ, look at this guy Nyn, it looks like a monster ripped into him!" The boy Tribute laughed, referring to mangled body of the Tribute Fina brutally attacked.
".........Jerks."
The girl Tribute called "Nyn" laughed, before making a happy squeak in surprise, " Hey! I do believe I found something!"
Aiden froze.
"Oh my! Would you look at all this blood! That District 7 kid really messed one of them up!" she said in a gleeful tone, "Come on, let's see where it leads-"
That wasn't just anyone's blood.
That was Seth's.
Dread pricked at Aiden's skin as he watched the two follow the trail, stopping suddenly as the blood trail ended. Their foot prints were everywhere in the dirt, breaking off into two different paths from when Seth was struggling.
"Lets split up, we should be able to find them easier that way," the girl said with a smooth voice, "if they are injured this bad, we can totally finish them off, you stay around here and find the one that lost all this blood kay?" she then lept easily over a fallen oak and headed out into the forest.
The direction where Fina went...
Aiden's heart hurt, thinking of how Fina was doing. But Aiden had problems of his own at the moment and pushed the thought of Fina's madness out of his mind as the male Tribute headed towards where he had hid Seth.
CRAP! DON'T GO THAT WAY!
Aiden followed quietly behind him, a safe distance away as the Tribute rummaged through the undergrowth.
He was getting way too close to where he had left Seth.
'Ignore it, just keep on walking, come on!' Aiden screamed in his mind, biting his lip from the tension that was building up, he gulped loudly.
The Tribute stopped for a moment, glancing around, he listened to the forest.
Aiden ceased his breathing, believing that he had been found out.
A crashing sound broke through the silence, drawing the Tribute's attention away to investigate what made the sound.
Aiden felt releived as the Tribute rushed away, disappearing from sight. Aiden quickly bounded to where Seth hid and ducked into the undergrowth, un-burrying him a bit he placed the jackets on top of him and then started to gather up all the branches again to hide them both. With sword wrapped tightly in hand, he rested next to Seth's body in an attempt to keep him warm.
Nobody was going to come find them now.
And if they did...he was ready.
Hours passed by.
So many hours.
So many that Aiden was starting to doze off from being so fatigued from being on guard.
He was so worn-out that Aiden didn't even hear Fina come back to camp, startling Aiden when he heard a sound of a cantine. He drew his sword, his back arched as if he was some sort of cat, protectively hovering over Seth, his eyes blazed as he held his sword out.

Fina hand drew back as Aiden's feral eyes met hers, hitting the blade on accident. She hissed a bit from the sting, but stared at Aiden. Hurt lined her darkened eyes.
"Aiden...Its ok. Its just me."
She managed to choke out the words as she continued to stare at the boy, fresh tears trying to burst their way out. Her heart ached. Badly. With both grief for these boys and Shame for her rash actions. Part of her sort of want Aiden to stab her. It would've been deserved...and a quicker way to end this.
