Description Lookit! I just did something that is so old-time retro that I can't believe it. Or that I was able to finish the thing. An ink and paint on clear acetate animation cell.

This was tougher than it looks. Hopefully the next (next ?!?!) one will be easier.

Here's the back view, just to see some of the chaos I went through:Β

Love it. I'm a huge fan of the Leela/Amy wrestling sequence. Seeing original artwork portraying this is fantastic - especially on acetate. Nice job.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear that.Β  Not sure if you saw this one:Β  fav.me/d759aot (it's another wrestling bit with these two).

Also a bit of trivia, Leelas costume was designed by a woman.Β  It was toned down for the show.

Β  I appreciate your dedicated artisticΒ expertise.Β  I simply love these girls' mauling each other to stay in shape and pro style wrestling seems to be the right answer... for my eyes at least.

Amy's not very good at suplexing though, is she? Her back is going to hit the mat first, and Leela's weight will be on top of her.

Y'know I was thinking the same thing. It might look like Amy is in charge, but in about a second the larger (and heavier) Leela is going to crash land.

But that will happen 24 frames later.

I still love the way this shows action - I've always loved that.

Thanks! Everybody has seen the wrestling scene a million times, so I thought I'd change it just a bit.

Thanks! I was more interested in "how" than "what" so I used a boring scene from "Jurassic Bark".

I hate to say this but I was getting tired of using markers all of the time, so this was a nice change of pace. I've already spotted several problems and how to prevent them. The next one should be better. Well, at least I hope so.
