Description
Thought i'd digitally colour one of my doodles.I'min desperate need of digital drawing skill.SAI is the
program i use.i used a very good tutorial for beginners,with
this one.
I screwed up the masking thing in the top third of the picture
and didn't know how to undo the mistake.
I kind of drifted away from the tutorial about half way through
which wasn't good.Spent far too long on this.
Unsatisfying
I'll try something more straight forward next time.

Not bad dude, really. SAI at least from what I've heard is a very reliable program and highly recommended no matter the skill level. Just takes some getting used to I guess. Honestly I'd love a program like SAI for myself if I was able to afford it, if only to fix the usually jagged outlines from my drawings and create smoother outlines. Been using GIMP for most of my digital artwork for years so I guess it really depends on your personal tastes and affordability level.
I'm impressed with your coloring and highlighting abilities. They're not too bad here. Now it'll really come together next time if you can somehow manage to create bolder, smoother outlines with a bit more cleanliness rather than relying on the original sketch as the main foundation for the lineart.
