Description Elemental magic can be a bit tricky to do, especially in black and white. There can be a tendency to add more detail than needed but the image becomes too busy. You just need to make sure people understand what element you're illustrating! Dark shadows and lines, ironically, are a great way to create an illusion of brightness when you lack color.

Fire, Water, Wind and Darkness magic can appear very similar; Earth and Ice magic can also be mixed up. With the elements together, you should be able to see the differences between them. I choose to depict the elements as so but there are other ways to, don't forget that! Remember to play around with the forms too!

PS: I think Wind is the trickiest element to draw. Smoke/air can be easy but fast wind has such long and round lines; try to hold your pen higher up and loosen up your grip.

Sure thing man, I'll try to get some more stuff like this uploaded in the future. I do sketches of stuff like this all the time. Looking back and this I notice how differently I illustrate magic effects now. XD

Is there anything in particular you were wanting dude?
