Dragon: Oh how considerate... you brought me a tooth-pic! ^-^Digital commission for ~QueenBex who asked for a knight challenging a dragon - the main stress on this brief was to have fun with it (which really is the best thing I can ever hope to hear from a commissioner, really!
) and so I certainly did just that! So much so I got a little carried away and spent a little longer on it than I should have, but It's all good cos I enjoyed doing it - it was great to have a chance to draw this [link] character again, and to make up a brand new dragon... he's so smug 
I really hope you like it Becky, thanks for the fun commission! ^-^

well this is really only a very quick/sketchy one... if I was going for anything more complete or realistic it would have taken a lot longer `:] I guess speed comes with practice (and doing time-trials has helped too) so I'm sure you'll get faster over time (if you want to, that is!)

That's a great picture - the dragon is somehow simultaneously cute and creepy at the same time! The face is brilliant and I love the effect of the semi-transparent wings.

hehe.. cheers man! I've grown quite fond of this dragon actually.. it was a lot of fun to draw him.. I really should give myself time to doodle dragons and the like more often \:]

hehe that's excellent. I really love the dragon. Lately I've been stuck-in-a-rut when it comes to drawing dragons they always come out the same. I've got a commission for a really nasty evil looking dragon, its quite hard when I'm so used to drawing cute happy ones

try looking at using different shapes when you're constructing them... don't just stick to the usual dragon type shapes, pull in some big bulky squares and nasty sharp/pointy triangles.. there are some awesome examples in bobby's book; [link] but I don't know how you'd look without buying it... you might find one or two helpful pics in his gallery here; [link] \:]

think you're right there... not really sure what they'll do about it though, I can't help thinking the dragon is plenty big enough to gobble the knight like a biscuit! lol perhaps the little knight has some special moves up it's shiny metal sleeves!
