Description
Redesign of an older character, think I might sculpt him in Zbrush when I have the time. Kinda a desert pack hunter/scavenger, with a social structure similar to hyena bands but hunting mannerisms akin to jumpy velociraptors. They use their fans for communication and temperature regulation. About knee high. Playing around with some echolocation abilities in the skull, maybe for sensing prey buried under the sand? Oh the possibilities.ΒAlso oh my gosh I've been away for too long, I have so many messages. So much art to look through.

The bottom jaws look similar to a camel spider's. I really like this!

This looks like it'd be right at home in an Oddworld game. Nice work!

Kinda looks like a variation of the Graboids from the Tremors series...

ps:Β the part about hunting prey just below the sand, made me think of hammerhead sharks going after rays, and I wondered if the side-jaws helped any with thatΒ (like dolphins hearing sonar with their jaws)

Been thinking of that too, might develop them more along that route or I might refocus the mandibles towards hunting purposes.

Maybe a relative of the earlier version?
I imagine it won't be conserved for the panda reason (adorable & helpless looking), but for the tiger reason (inspiring & awesome-looking)
noble and stately, this is a great creature you've made
