This story took place recently.

Blaze, Summer and Autumn received a big trampoline as an Easter gift from their maternal grandpa. After their parents set it up in the backyard, the trampoline immediately became the kids' new favourite toy. They were having lots of fun jumping on it with each other, and their friends on nice days.

On this particular day, they invited their cousin Holly to jump on their trampoline with them, and Holly was excited to try it. She had never jumped on a trampoline before, since she didn't have one, and neither did any of her friends or other cousins. As soon as she arrived, the kids all went to the backyard to go on the trampoline. They had lots of fun jumping as high as they could, while still staying safe in the trampoline's safety net.

HOLLY: Whoo! Did you see how high I jumped that time?
BLAZE: Yeah! But there's lots more to do on a trampoline than just jumping?
AUTUMN: Yeah, you can do spin jumps and cool flips like this!

Autumn did a front flip and managed to land on her feet.
HOLLY: Whoa!
SUMMER: And you can do bum-bounces!

She jumped up, then landed on her backside before bouncing back up and landing on her feet.
HOLLY: I can do that!

She bum-bounced a few times, but for the few two times she didn't quite land on her feet, but after the third time, she did!
BLAZE: And you can play games! Let's play Popcorn!
BOTH TWINS: Yeah!
HOLLY: How do you play that?
AUTUMN: So one of us is 'it', and everyone else has to curl up into a ball and grab hold of our legs and stay tucked in. The person who's 'it' then has to jump near us to try and bounce us enough to make us let go of our legs and 'pop' like popcorn. And whoever gets popped is out, and has to help the person who's 'it' pop everyone else. The last one unpopped is the winner.
BLAZE: Yeah. It's lots of fun. I'll be 'it' since I'm the biggest. I bet I can make you all pop!

So the girls all curled up into a ball and hugged their legs as tight as they could. Then Blaze started jumping near them. It didn't take long for Holly to pop. But of course, she's still new to the game. She then started jumping to help Blaze to get the twins to pop. They jumped and jumped, but the twins were both holding on really tightly, and were determined to win. Blaze and Holly kept jumping and jumping, until finally, Holly jumped really high, and managed to land so hardly, that it launched Summer in the air and she popped as soon as she landed, making Autumn the winner.

SUMMER: Aww.
HOLLY: I made you pop, Summer.
AUTUMN: "still curled up" But you'll never pop me!

Autumn wouldn't let go of her legs, even after she has already won, so Blaze, Summer and Holly looked at each other, without Autumn noticing, and after Blaze silently counted to three, they all jumped up at the exact same time, and when they landed, doing a bum-bounce to add extra weight, Autumn flew up in the air really high, almost going over the safety net, and she popped when she landed.

AUTUMN: What? Aww!
BLAZE: Ha ha! Gotcha, Autumn!
AUTUMN: Well played.
HOLLY: Ha ha, that was fun! Let's play again!

So they did. The kids had lots of fun playing Popcorn, and a few other games on the trampoline, and they also practiced a few tricks, which Holly showed her moms when they came to pick her up. They were happy that their daughter had fun jumping and playing with her cousins. and she was happy too. It was such a fun day!
