Description
My way of painting manes. No smudging, no burning, no dodging! I used to do it with premade hair brushes some time ago, but as for now, I don't use any. I'm actually more satisfied of their outcome since I stopped to, so I thought that maybe I'll share what I came up with ^^ The brushes I described are easy to make 'at home', so I didn't include a brushpack [especially since one of them is 'stolen' from another artistAnother good thing when you're trying to shade your mane is playing with your own hair! Twirl them, stand at different angles to the light, observe how does it affect your hair, and try to compose your work based on that
Plus, a REALLY lazy way of general shading is merging the hair layers and playing with the curves (CRTL + M). Though personally I hardly ever use that
I'm not sure if there are any grammar or spelling errors... Sorry in advance

Bezcenne *_*

I'll try to when I find some time Right now though, my method is almost identical to the one shown here [link] - despite it's a manip tutorial, the rules of lighting are the same. So maybe this will do for now?
