A late [but promised] birthday gift for *Aomori , her beautiful girl Karthala (Iskra's daughter, and also my Jomar's part-sibling ) As soon as I thought of her red coat color, this scenery popped into my head, so here it is I'm still not sure how to shade properly with a light source at this angle D: Especially after such a long break, I was doing this bit by bit for several weeks, sometimes just a few brush strokes daily ;_; The lighting's apparently a mess. At least I haven't forgotten how to shade horses themselves. It's kinda uplifting.

Ach, Karthala to piękna postać
Jak zwykle ładne cieniowanie Rysowanie pofalowanych ogonów i grzyw to dl mnie zmora, ale tobie wyszło świetnie. A to "ogniste" niebo wygląda baardzo efektownie
(Jedyne do czego mogłabym się ptzyczepić to kształt chrap, troszke dziwnie wyglądają tak "wyciągnięte' )

Z cieniowania samej postaci jestem raczej średnio zadowolona, mam wrażenie że nie jest wystarczająco szczegółowe i płynne >.o Grzywę robiło się bardzo przyjemnie, ogon już trochę mniej , ale cieszę się że się podoba Dziękuję bardzo
[a tu muszę przyznać rację, doprowadzenie tych chrap do jako takiego porządku w ogóle było dla mnie kłopotliwe, zdaje się że wyszłam nieco z wprawy przy ich rysowaniu >.o Zaraz po nogach to dla mnie najgorsza część rysowania konia D:]

ale zrobiłaś mi niespodziankę! ^3^ To jest piękne! Uważam, że do Thali tego typu kolory pasują doskonale, ta pomarańczowa trawa połączona z czerwonym niebem po prostu mnie rozwaliła!

Jestem trochę spóźniona z komentarzem (dokładnie to spóźniona o 4 dni -.-) ale dopiero dzisiaj przeglądając zaległe arty trafiłam tutaj.. przyznam, że moje zdziwienie jest tym większe, że po miniaturce nie spodziewałam się zobaczyć tu żadnej mojej postaci

Jeżeli mogę jeszcze dodać, to z takim tylnym oświetleniem radzisz sobie doskonale, naprawdę

Wobec tego tym bardziej mi ulżyło się cieszę, że Ci się podoba Tak właśnie myślałam, że mało używam tego typu barw a poza tym pasują do samej Thali, więc taka kombinacja mogłaby zadziałać

No ja jestem trochę zdziwiona, bo Thala ma dość oryginalny design i myślałam że rzuci się w oczy, ale cóż - wtopiła się w tło może ;D

Znalazłoby się tu zapewne parę rzeczy do poprawki, ale jeżeli już jest dobrze na tym etapie, to się tym bardziej cieszę 8D

przydałoby się tu małe sprostowanie - widać byłam na tyle ucieszona, że widzę jakieś arty od Ciebie, że powiększyłam miniaturki właściwie bez przyglądania się im Teraz w zupełności zgadzam, się, że także na miniaturce Thala jest do siebie całkowicie podobna

All I can say is that I just stared at this for about a whole five minutes
its beautiful!! Every detail and the way you colored her, she looks incredible! <33
Im sure *Aomori will adore this, cause I surely do!

its so perfect, and that sunset is breathtaking was it a pain to do? its so amazing. And the grass is nice and smooth, i like its flow and the way you drew it!

Karthala looks amazing, her pose is perfectly drawn and theres absolutely NO anatomy mistakes there, her eye is awesome and her markings were beautifully colored!! you drew her perfectly!!

Oh wow, gee I don't know what to say I'm now double glad that you like it so much ^___^ I hope Ao will do too
I have to admit, the sunset was wuite painful The hardest part was to pick the correct colors, and besides my freaky tablet pressure frustrates me But I'm glad I was able to make it look okay in the end And I got really lazy with the grass, srsly The one in the foreground is a brush with manually redrawn tips, that's all

The sunset turned out really quite amazingly! it really did! and I have not tried any kind of digital art yet, hopefully soon though because I want to try this 'tablet'

the grass is really well done though you chose a good method haha<3

Wow, I love all the warm colors you've used. You did an excellent job on shading and the details are lovely. The colors used in the background are very stunning. I think your lighting works, but isn't the sun behind Karthala? If so then I think there needs to be more extreme highlights surrounding Karthala to show she's being back-lit and maybe darken a couple areas on the body? I'm just guessing, I struggle with light at different angle's too.

Well, that's why I wasn't so sure if the lighting is correct The back-light impression is the thing I wanted and tried to achieve, seems like I failed haha Also I tried not to make Thala herself too dark I'll need more practise with these lighting tricks I guess

Wow! Karthala looks so beautiful, you're shading skills are just unbelievable The use of colour and light here is so beautiful and the stunning sunset (how on earth do you manage such beautiful backgrounds?! ) really set of the colours of Karthala's coat, she's such an awesome character and you've captured her so wonderfully. Gah, I just can't stop staring at all the amazing details.

To be honest, I have mixed feelings about my outcome of Karthala - I have an impression that I failed to show her Arab traits -_- But I'm happy the rest is okay ^-^ I thought that color combination on the background might work, and good to know it does =3 Though trust me, I still have a loooonnng path to walk before my backgrounds can be called beautiful Well, I hope the character's owner will enjoy this piece too ^.-

Wow. That is what I thought of when I saw this! Just, WOW!
This is gorgeous! I absolutely love Aomori's character, and you made her look soooo pretty here. The colors fit so well, and the shading and highlighting on the coat is great! And the background is just stunning. Those clouds are incredible, with that light effect you used. How it goes all the way from white in the center to darker orange on the outer clouds, just adds so much to this gorgeous piece of artwork! I really don't know what elso to say, besides that this is amazing.

This is terrific, gorgeous, breathtaking, and so many more words that I can't even list them all. I will say, though, I never knew there were so many shades of orange.
Great job! Keep this up, and I know Aomori will LOVE this giftie.

I admire Thala too, and was eager to draw her, so this was a perfect opportunity I thought that this color combination could work, I'm glad it did =3 Though I almost broke down when drawing the clouds, making it look as it does now was more painful than I thought - I guess that I haven't used my tablet in a looong time and have problems getting used to it
I'd imagine there are even more shades At first the 'sky' was only a mess of a couple of basic colors, but once I started blending, I added more midtones, some warmth shades, and this is my outcome :3
