I got this idea a few nights back... at like, 3 am. yeah...Seriously tho, is David now the one holding the title of the xenodad? Giger gets all the credit for making this thing, that's for sure, but wow, now the alien has a creator IN the actual story. Alright, not as deep and amazing as it sounded to me at that moment but I thaught it was something the xenomorph might consider in an alternate reality or something.
Ok, in this picture you can really see how much more comfortable I am with drawing xenos (hell, anything else) than humans (or humanoids cuz David's an android). But I think he turned out ok. Although that neck is a little off, but when I noticed that it was far too late

I'm not comfortable with the idea of David being the creator of the Xenomorphs (and therefore won't add it to my personal canon), so I think Giger will always be the xenodad. But David has done a nice job on working with the Engineers' basic designs (because although he claims the whole species to be his creation, it actually isn't - he just finished what they had started (it's in the novelization)).

Honestly, I beleive that xenos were a product of evolution. Though, that doesn't really work because it seems that they were designed to "infect" a carbon based host such as us. And then prometheus came along... so I'm not very sure what to beleive.
And as for David creating them, while it is kinda dumb I can see what they were going for with that. Humans created something more perfect than them, the androids (David in this case) and then their perfect creation creates an something better than it. And so it contiues. But that's just how I figured it
