I think the magazines are supposed to be part of the concept idea.... Like Devil-Miyu said, after reading fashion magazines, you can get corrupted into believing that is what you have to look like.

Yeah I kind of thought that too but I think it takes away from the model and the overall composition, without those too the comp could have changed to better fit the image within the picture. I do agree with you that magazines corrupt womens vision and belief in what they should be or look like. Alot of media does that as well as art, what ive always liked about DA is there is a healthy mix of models; from runway to natural to goth

Ahh, I understand what you meant now. I agree, the magazines are a little big for the picture. It's actually because of da (and me seeing so much variety) that, as a girl, i feel a lot better about my body in general. Art is a powerful thing
