ApolloxReader- Perception- Part 1

You could never lie to Apollo. At least not with his stupid perception skills. You could never plan a surprise birthday party for him. He knew all of your quirks anyways, so lying to him was a stupid idea. That didn't stop you from trying though.

You were writing him a love letter and didn't want him to find out. Really? No. You just wanted to ask him out without a creepy stalkerish vibe. How could you say "I've been watching you for a while..." without it being creepy? 'Really, I'd love to know,' you thought to yourself.

So when Apollo asked you what was wrong, and you LIED because you were nervous, it was only natural that he would catch you in the act.

"GOTCHA!" Apollo yelled, pointing straight at you.

"Apollo stop! We are not in court!" You scolded him.

"How come when you said "Nothing is wrong", your left hand was touching your face?" He asked.

'Damn it!' You thought to yourself.

"Ummm... I'm very itchy?" You asked sounding confused.

"Really?" Apollo asked unconvinced. "Because I've noticed that touching your face is something you do a lot when you lie."

Pure shock was on your face.

"Are you ready to tell me the truth?" Apollo asked you.

"....I'm not sure." You said, not knowing if this was the right time to ask him out.

"Ugh... after I did all that work trying to drag the truth out of you?" Apollo sounded exhausted.

"Oh c'mon Apollo! You're gonna find out eventually." You assured him.

"Eventually? From you, that means never."

"Hey! That is only partially true!"

Apollo huffed and tried to walk away.

"Where are you going Apollo? I still haven't decided whether I wanted to tell you now or later." You asked.

"I decided to drag the truth out of you myself." He smiled slightly before walking away.

You shook your head at how stubborn he could be sometimes. Smiling, you walked home, wondering how to tell Apollo you liked him.
