HAS COME TO EAT YOUR FACE.LOL JK
I actually really love sharks and i wish that the movie JAWS never came out. It just made people terrified of them and want them gone forever. Honestly, if they all dissapeared, the ocean would be in chaos. The poor babies are being hunted like crazy and some species have already gone extinct because of us. It just breaks my heart. -huggles sharks-
Anyway, this was requested by my cousin over Facebook and so here it is. Lol. Hope you guys like my first attempt at drawing a shark!

OMG, OMG, OMG, So freakin' cute!!!! I just...want to hug it...but I don't think that'd go over well... XD Wonderful job here, Beck! You really nailed the anatomy and the face is perfect. I love the perspective, and the shading is magnificent! Great touch with the bubbles and the background with the light coming through at the surface. Very nice. I'm ashamed to say, but JAWS is one of my favorite movies, but you're right, it did give sharks a bad rep. At least Peter Benchley felt bad about it after writing the book and tried to clear their name. :c It's sad that they're understood. But, anyway, enough of my rambles, an amazing piece from you that really made my day. Really love it, keep it up.

I'm actually okay with the movie but i just wish people didn't take it so seriously. It's a fictional movie.

;-;... i'm scared of sharks. But not because of Jaws, or any other shark movie. I in fact thought a movie where the sharks were genetically enhanced by some dumb doctors machine that allows them to think above human level was pretty cool... deadly, but cool.

Ah i saw that movie. I think it was called Deep Blue or something? I don't remember. But there isn't really a reason to be scared of them because a movie right? They were genetically enhanced sharks that thought like us.
Lol thanks. <3 I am a bit cautious when i go swimming in the ocean because you never know, there is a very slim chance that it could happen. I just love the ocean too much to stay out of it though.

Oh no, I'm not scared of sharks for that movie, like I said, I thought it was pretty cool and that the humans kinda deserved it. Don't mess with nature~

And you're welcome <3 It's very, very slim. Only if you thrash about, or bleed. Because that's what they're attracted to, mostly. But who can't love the ocean^^?
You're welcome again x3 Honestly, I don't blame you. Water's hard to draw especially when you try to do light beams, and then the depths. Maybe.. what I was thinking of doing next water try, was adding background to it, to make it... depth-ier xD. That might help us?

Yeah, it's actually been proven that you're more likely to be struck by lightning than be attacked by a shark.
It's very uncommon for a shark to come close to shore unless there's something wrong with it, and even then, it'll be lethargic and just blah. Lol. It's mostly just small sand sharks and the like that are close to shore.
AND I FREAKING LOVE THE OCEAN! I love all of it's inhabitants and it'd be amazing if i could do research on it and stuff as a future job. Maybe a marine biologist. That'd be the best thing ever.

Honestly, I'm not afraid of Leopard sharks because I know you can actually pet them and everything. They're not interested in you XD Same applies for Sand Sharks I think. Not sure O.o Though I didn't know it's more common for lightning to strike over a shark attacking. And if lightning's rare too, then Sharks are safe x3;
I see. :3 I'd have to admit, it's beautiful, if in the light. But, even though I'm Ice/Water, I'm scared of dark waters x.x so I can't really go into the ocean, although I love it just as well.

Yep. ^-^ Plus, when someone is bitten, it's most likely an accident.
It's more common for a surfer to be attacked because of the shadow they throw off. It looks like a large seal to sharks and since they don't have very good eyesight, they go up to check it out and thus, the biting occurs. They don't have hands to figure stuff out so they use their mouth. That's why most people are only bitten, not completely eaten. Once the shark knows that it isn't food, they let go.
Lol sorry, for the lecture on shark behavior, i just feel strongly about this.
Yeah, for some reason I'm okay with the ocean but if you put me in a lake or something with really dark water, i'll freak out. xD I don't get it.

It's alright, when you feel so strongly about something, you should never contain it. It's like the whole, "I got to fight for my right to party" and crap like that. -shrug.- XD Point is, they still freak me out x.x; But I'm not gonna hate them xD
And... I can't stand any dark water X.X Even freakin' pool water that isn't lit up freaks me out. It's horrible xD and funny.

Honestly, when I was little, I was jealous of all their teeth. Like, I didn't want the rows of them, but I wanted to have like 2 extra sets to come down over the baby teeth and adult teeth. You know, get four chances to keep them safe xD?
