THINGS TO COME!Yeah, so me and ~Pspynett have been working on things...they're not particularly ready yet, we recently realised that a lot of it needed a) working out or b) an overhaul before we actually start properly, but we've got concepts to show. Some of hers are already up, take a gander:
Skywheels
Ancona
Behold, the behemoth! (That's totally plural there, there's not just one.) They are, indeed, extremely big. That's an industrial city/factorything going on down there in the corner. x3 The things on their backs have evolved into something else...which you will soon see as I continue this particular uploadspree.
This was really quick, so the clouds don't look particularly cloudy. In fact, I might upload the image without them to my scraps so you can see his feets. x3 FEETS HERE. Either way, t'was fun.
Yes, name significantly taken from the biblical monster the behemoth, but it's not it. They named it after it. You might figure why. x3
Behemoth concept etc is © to me (=apocalypsebunny ) and Maze (~Pspynett )

Wow, beautiful. ^^
I love all the shading around the muscles and such. He's certainly one very creepy beast. The glowy eyes and mouth are really cool - I wonder what the inside of his mouth looks like. Is it just a big furnace?
Nice work. :3

Thanks very much! I'm glad you like the muscles; after drawing bulls last year, I think I subconsciously tried to work in that similar feeling of gigantic-mass-of-bone-and-muscle thing they have going on.
And yes, furnace, entirely possible. |D You should see the volcano ones, they're awesome.

Heh, well keep it up. ^^ Are there many more designs for these dudes, like there are for the water-beasts?
Wait- volcano ones? Are these up on dA?

There probably will be; there's at least one for every country...ish. I haven't thought up different designs yet, but they're all really big and have some sort of natural structure along their backs - usually mountains. They probably won't be as varied as the leviathans.
Oh yush, volcano ones. |D Not on dA yet, sadly. I only have a doodle of one on some MCG notes.

Hm, and how many countries are there? I really don't know much about Skywheels at all, really, do I? :<
What other natural structures are there? Is the Skywheels world not a bit cluttered with these guys all over the place? x3
Huh, so is it to do with where they come from, or is that a kind of maturity thing? I'm getting an image of a quadrupedal version of a Goron, from the Legend of Zelda series, if you've ever seen those? The elderly ones got volcanoes growing on their backs. Ooh, or a giant Camerupt! ...Sorry. x3

Whatever you do, you gonna have one erupt on something! That'd be awesome! xD

About as many countries as there were in Victorian Britain? xD Apparently much less than now - about 60 as opposed to about 200. But in any case, that idea got scrapped. The number's unrelated to the countries now, and the behemoths are more varied. There still aren't many of them though, things that big need spaaaace. xD
I will thank you to never compare them to those ever again. xDDDD Kidding. But srs bsns, the behemoths are cooler. I need to upload some more of the concepts, really.

Huh. So any news on how Skywheels is coming along? Are we gonna see it started in the summer, somewhen? x]
Cooler than a Goron? Lies! xD
Yeah, it'd be nice to see more variations of the behemoths. :]

Let me go to Europe and come back first. xD I don't know when it'll start - I'd rather be totally ready than rush into it.

I totally understand - I've been planning The Yggdrasil Cycle since I was about ten. xD That's not normal, though. Anyways, it'll be great to see it started.
I also wanna find out what changes you've made, besides the few Maze has told me about. Ribcage city is a particularly awesome idea, by the way. :]
