Yeah, so me and ~Pspynett have been working on things...they're not particularly ready yet, we recently realised that a lot of it needed a) working out or b) an overhaul before we actually start properly, but we've got concepts to show. Some of hers are already up, take a gander:

MOAR CARDINAL BEASTIES . |D The size comparison is actually, I imagine, a little off on the ziz, it seems a bit big. But yaknow, it worked for the composition. The leviathan totally couldn't come that close to land unless there was no continental shelf. ...I think that particular leviathan is one of my favourites. Come on, let's face it, dunkleosteus has an awesome face. xDDD

They're all like "WHUT, SUNLIGHT?" like us animators coming out of cinematography on a wednesday morning. They don't get much, poor things.

Names significantly taken from the biblical monsters behemoth/leviathan/ziz, but they're not them. They named them after them. You might figure why. x3

Done my new map dip pen. :3 S'fantastic and thin and I still haven't used it much - and I'm not entirely sure why I thought I should do a full A4 thing with it, but it was fun - so be gentle. I know I totally borked the background, especially the sky/clouds, so don't worry about critiquing that. xDD In any case, nothing's gonna get done to it that involves taking black off, because that's like...impossible, so yeah, be gentle. The original's on my wall at the moment, even though I did this back in April, so I still like it.
