LITTLE TIP! If your version of PTS can't do the transparent background, download another program and run the drawing through there. I personally use Paint.net, open the image and select the outer part I want to erase. If it selects the whole thing, there's an option you can lower. I don't remember the name, but if you look up the basics of Paint.net, there are plenty of guides containing that tip I just explained

Hi! So, I used this tutorial to make a base of a sketch, but I can't figure out how to do the text that you usually have in yours. How do you do that exactly?Β

For me, I usually open up MS Paint, then click the "A" button in the tools. From there you can change your font and size. Sorry that this is very late xD

so...I use paint tool sai. and I usually hand-draw everything. lmao. I want to try bases. I tried using the wand when I find a base. but it doesn't work. It just fills the whole page, not specifically the line.Β

Am I mistaken or when you switch a layer into 'Binary Color' the layer turns black and white, not colored like you have yours?
π: 0 β©: 1
KatsuBases In reply to CasCasanova [2016-03-18 05:20:30 +0000 UTC]
It says in the tutorial but you have to lower the opacity of the Binary Color linework layer to anything but 100%
I personally use 60%

I think I did something wrong with this tutorial, because when I fill the lines with the final color, there still are pixels of the original color.

Here's the official download. From the official website:Β www.systemax.jp/en/sai/
It's just a 30 day trial before you have to buy it but there are downloads. I don't know one personally though sorry
