Nice clear shot. I think on average your pics are sharper & clearer, less muddied, and more vibrant ( rich , color-wise).
I think i mentioned that before ...pardon my early Alzheimer's..
I forgot is that a new camera or new post processing tricks?

Thank you for such an encouraging comment. The first digital DSLR was a Pentax. Under favorable conditions, it captured images well, but in low light the lenses went "soft" focus. Yes, it is a new camera, with Zeiss and Canon "L" lenses. Photoshop CS4 processing is reserved for bracketed shots, crops, and joining panoramas. I still have a lot to learn about getting the best from the new rig. I have to cover new territory and always hope for the right conditions.

Thank you, James, it appears nature has done most of the work with the weather as backdrop.

You can't fool me. I know you were out there with a file and some sandpaper, shaping those rocks.

Sincere thanks, Chris. I see you read the camera data Picked up the body 2 months earlier and the 50mm lens arrived last week, hopefully the 24-105mm will be here this week along with a macro rail. Spring wild flowers are almost gone maybe the rattlesnakes will disappear with them (the worst year I've seen so far).

Thanks, Ron. The creek rapidly disappears into the thirsty surrounds. Next time I'll grab a water sample to see what lurks within.

It is amazing how much this looks like the Altiplano of Bolivia. Fine shot, my friend.

Kindest thanks! I haven't been there yet, but the bucket list seems to be getting longer by the day.
