Kaufee Comics' Original Character, The Rott (or Rottweiler)!-Inspired by the many bad-ass heroes like Wolverine, Deadpool, and Punisher.
Dig the Rott? Check this [link] and tell me if you like the ears! I was thinking that they would be removable/clip-on and act as a "bluetooth" comm system. So you would see him with and without the ears. What are your thoughts?

I love the mask great design, the only thing I can say is maybe a slightly different pair of boots, but all and all 9 out of ten

I actually like the ear design, my only suggestion would be I would change the nose to an outright dog shape to a gasmask-breathing nozzle that is black and placed in the same area. But that's a minor thought, still looks great.

I'm agreeing with Michael on the brass knuckles, and the colors would match the suit's other brass pieces anyway. I'd also add the ears, it'd bring more of a dog look and differentiate him from Deadpool a little more

First, dogs DO have claws and just 'cause a character has them doesn't mean that that is going to be his thing or main gimmick. He will mainly be about fists and guns. Second he does have sharp armored knuckles that would be much more damaging than just standard brass knuckles.
Does he really look that much like deadpool? If I had stated inspiration would you really think Deadpool?

I know that dogs have claws, but I just think feline or reptilish when I use claws. The sharp knuckles look cool but I kinda like the plain brutality behind standard brass ones. But he's your OC and I've got my own that use those so whichever, he looks great either way
He looks more Punisher to me, but going off the comparison to the "no ears" version, he does look more like a DP type character

i like him, but i'd lose the finger claws. dogs aren't really known for their claws and if he's using a dog as his theme it doesn't seem to fit. maybe some nasty brass knuckles. i know dogs don't have those either, but rottweilers are known for being big, powerful dogs.

My tone wasn't offended, I like to hear that you are thinking deeper in to the characters. If my art can do that, catch a glancing eye, I must be taking steps in the right direction.

I'm trying to create Original Characters so when I say inspired by it's more like broad inspiration. Sometimes its just about attitude or tone of the character. Im not making a Wolverine/deadpool rip off etc.

You'll note I was using the term 'vibe'. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. You should consider giving a brief bio- context matters, y'know.
On a more contrary note, the boots do bother me. Not in themselves, but they don't really fit with the rest of the costume. The rest of his costume seems modern and the boots clash with that- so I suggest changing one or the other.

The Rott is a low-budget homemade hero in that he makes his own custom armor and equipment by using things available to everyone. And I thought one of the tougher things for anyone to make at home would be a good pair of boots, even if you were pretty good at leather work. Things like covering a bullet-proof vest with leather or making straps and belts would be easier. So he just uses cheap steal toe work-boots made of the same leather as his costume.(That was kinda my rationalization of those boots, but as always ALL my characters are ever changing and works-in-progress)

My thing is the rest of costume doesn't look that slapped together to me, which is what makes the boots out of place.
