Description
Man created machine, and he saw it was good.Man is still the flawed creation.
This is a take on one of the panels that can be found in the Sistine Chapel Ceiling, The Creation of Adam. I have had this idea floating around in my head for quite some time now, but i finally got to put it into an image
With all the intensity on religion in these past weeks i thought that this might have a place. I had this vice clamp thingy lying around my house and thought it would make a cool "hand" ENJOY!

Shot in RAW (NEF) and converted/edited in PS7
If you ever get a chance read Voltaire's "Candide." Its a brilliant piece of work that deals with religion and belief systems.

When I saw the hand, I thought instantly of The Creation Of Adam. Very nice work on a classic picture. Seeing such close space between hand and claw, the way the hand is reaching out, and the lighting is just perfect. Excellent, KavaWava.

Crisp and clean .. every effective in its simplicity. The black background emphasises the colours nicely, without making them seem garish, or in competition for the main space. I love it
