I love the way you look at me,
When you think I won’t notice.
If we are actors in a play,
I thank the one who wrote us.
I love the way you speak to me,
As though I understand.
I love the way you’re such a boy,
And yet, you’re such a man.
I love the way you’re just yourself,
The way your head’s on straight.
I love the way you smile at me,
The way you’re never late.
Of all the things I love you for,
There’s one that’s beat by none.

I know you've heard this all before, but this poem is simply beautiful, it's taken my breath away. I wanted to show my boy something that explains what I feel for him, and since I SUCK at writing things like that I try to find someone who has done something similar to what I want to say. Most DA poems are all about "I love you but you're dead" or "I love you and wish you were mine" etc. None just say "I love you" untill this one. It's beautiful.
