I finally got around to doing this and :3 I really love how this came out. Especially the shading! 8D makes me happy.EPIC shines xD
And I never realized how much fun I like drawing long necks and the golden necklaces that go around it.
Anyhow, this is Cerulean's Caliptian clothing.

~Cerulean wears both a white sash (worn by the children) an adult sash. Despite the top being somewhat translucent it is very strong. Her top is a regular leather top crossed in the front. She wears three bandages, one over her hand, and the others over her arms. She uses them to cover up her tattoos given by the Gods. (She was descended by a Water God.)
The tattoo over her right eye was actually a scar she got while fighting a Virilia beast. She then covered it over with a tattoo. As side accessories, Virilia horn bracelets and rings are worn on each hand. And a common golden ringed necklace to stretch out the neck is worn.~

Maybe a story..? Gah, no! I need to get my butt in gear for the overdue ATs and RQs. >_>
oh and btw, if you're wondering why she looks so tall and is only 13, is because Caliptians are naturally tall (I think) and her Godly-ness makes her at least 6 ft.

Ask for permission first if you wish to create your own character of them. This version is outdated because they looked to close to Irkens and she wanted them to be a completely separate species. I don't know where to contact Elli anymore so I wish you luck.

I once did an attempt to make a Caliptian, but I realised the backstory/design I came up with doesn't quite match the story that was intended for them.

Hmm, I think the reason that no one has drawn a male Caliptian yet is because of the antennae. Usually the female Caliptian antennae is long (or in the middle) and the antennae may be harder to draw for a design. I think 3lli did a male Caliptian one time. It was part of one of her spam things on another account.

Gah, doesn't matter. I'd believe you'd have added your own twist to them? I know for one thing, and that is antennae that curl on an alien aren't anyone's idea (besides JV, I guess xD).
