Ben was original a hack of the game majora's mask, not exactly links dark side, but more of a remake of his character axcept with a more darker twist in personality as well as causing people to go insane while playing the game

Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died.

Basically, a boy named Ben drowned and his spirit haunts the game. If you play his, you'll find a file named BEN so don't delete it other wise he'll be angry. However, if you play your own file, it will be very glitchy and sporadic, constantly repeating "You've met a terrible fate, haven't you?" And if you start your file again, the name on his will change to things like "YOUR TURN" or "TRY AGAIN".
I'm pretty sure that's it in a nutshell, or at least the important parts. I don't remember it very clearly.
