Omg this happened to me but it was my bf walking with me at the mall and one of the people at the kiosks thought we were siblings

The same, but with my mum Β°-Β° the fact is that i seem more old than i really am (because of the beard and other things) and she looks a loooooot younger than she is... when we go to the supermarket together the cashiers always give us weird looks and it is... pretty awkward.
So we came up with a plan: every time we approach the cashier i'll say something like "MUM, did we take too many hamburgers?..."
It works.

Because me and my sister is little age apart (I'm 21 and 8 years apart), so from their eyes can tell we're siblings

When I was going to a housing related appointment, the escrow agent mistaken me for my father's wife, which my mom was busy with one of her many jobs and couldn't be there to oversee the exchange.
How I was mistaken for a trophy wife was beyond me.

I hate when stuff like this happens. It's only happened to me once when I was like 12 and several kids at school thought I was dating my cousin(they didn't know we were related) Β of course I got so mad that it's never been asked again (I screamed at them and raged for like 30 minutes lol). Now people mistake me and my best friend for being sisters because we are so close we call each other sis and it confuses everyone.Β

People have thought my bro and sis were my gf and I's kids, with my parents as the grandparents...which is understandable as my dad is full of gray and I have a beard (even though I'm only 10 years older than them)
my school nurse thought my dad was my grandpa (again gray beard)
and someone thought my mom was my wife and my siblings were my kids.
It gets REALLY ANNOYING.
