The same thing happens with me and my younger brother. I'm 14 months older than him, but because he's a little bit taller than me, people who know us always assume he's older than me

I know exactly how you feel, but the opposite way. I'm shorter than my younger sister so people always assume that she's the older one until they look at my face. Apparently I look more mature than she does and then they realise I'm older

omg! me too. I was 15 back then, and I went to a (distant) relative's wedding. They were like.. "oh, your wife!" How awkward is that.... (it didn't help that my parents looks waay younger than their age)

My dad only took it as a compliment about looking younger, where as I was there saying I was his daughter.

Today, people say that I look like their siblings, depending who I go out with at a time. My parents are happy, of course, seeing the outrageous look on people's face when I said that I'm his/her daughter. "Wow, you're kid's old! How old were you when you get married?" Excuse me, my parents were 26 and 28 respectively when they got married. Way to go to make ME feel old! Hahhaha! xD
