Don't feel too bad about it. My two sisters (one younger, one older) went to a grocery store and it was interpreted that my older sister and I were married and that my younger sister was our daughter despite a two year gap between each of us.

Thank goodness that never happened to me. Unfortunately for me though, people mistaken me as the younger sibling and my brother the older sibling when it's actually the other way around!! Hate it that he's taller than me, and I'm three years older than him. Well, everyone in my family is taller than me which sucks. -_-

One time, my dad was going to teach me how to shoot, so we went to go get a good gun to help me start. I was thirteen at the time, and this man walks over to us and says something along the lines of "I see you're looking for a gun to teach your girlfriend. Or is she your wife?" my dad thought it was hilarious while i was just about ready to barf.Β
But i think it's pretty funny now.

HA! this happened to me and my brother when we were looking for an apartment together. The land lady thought we were a gay couple and asked when she was going to check what she had available "you wanted a one room, right?"

My brother was flirting with a girl at the beach and the girl was like. "I like the offer and all but your girlfriend is right over there, dude." He was gonna explain but I went over and pretended I was his girlfriend and embarrassed him.
