first time i met pokemondonβt know where senior Henry is now but thank you so much for showing me pokemon red back then
thus i fancy gen 1 the most but my first pokemon game was gold^^

I don't even remember how I got into Pokemon, I'm pretty sure I heard about it in school and then wound up getting it for Christmas the year it came out. I was 6 years old at the time, so that'd put me in 1st grade. That seems so long ago now...

Pokemon yellow my friend back in elementary school had it and he let me play for a bit though I didn't get any game till they came out with emerald.
Saw all of the original Pokemon show though

I discovered Pokemon, by accident, in the same time as the American, when the anime first came out... It pumped me to improve my English to fully understand what they were saying. I'll always be grateful for it

Pokemon Gold/Silver which I requested for Christmas. Then I borrowed Red from a friend and obtained a used copy of Yellow.

I started with Chrystal version, the fusion of Gold and Silver -^^- I was very happy and I spent a lot of hours playing it. Also played later the old Blue and Red, but I'll always love my beautiful Chrystal, with its two regions and pokemons of the two generations, hehehe.

First game was Ruby, so Gen 3. I played Pokemon Crystal after getting a bit too hooked to Ruby. :3

I played pokemon Yellow first I think! After that my cousin lent me her Gameboy along with pokemon Silver. I didn't get my own pokemon game until Ruby and Sapphire came out. 3rd gen is still my all time favorite!

I first played Pokemon when one of our dad's friends gave me and my sister each a game boy color with red and blue.
It was so fun and I wish I still had it because we got them when they were dirt cheap and now they are really expensive.

I think I got introduced to pokemon from my brother. He played pokemon learfgreen, and I always wanted to play that game. Eventually, I got pokemon emerald and played that, but then finally my brother got pokemon diamond version. I really like watching him play that game. So when Platinum version came out, I made sure to get that game to play pokemon myself! And man, it was awesome! Although I never did realize that you could be able to have your pokemon forget HM moves, and ended up accidently teaching my chimchar cut. Oops.

My first pokemon game was gold i was gonna get diamond (seeings as my siblings had platinum and pearl)
but I love gold happy I chose it. Though part of the reason I wanted pokemon was to fit in with my siblings my siblings dont have any of the other games other than well the Sinnoh gen. But it kinda sucked nobody in my town had a lot of money so barely anyone had a DS Gameboy or any console/handheld
Β More people were into pokemon cards I had my fair share. but not that many good ones
I then traded with my best friend for amazing cards but one day my backpack was open it was raining i was running home when all my pokemon cards fell out into the rain onto the mud i spent like 30 minutes looking for them in the rain crying while some kids would go by me and laugh because people are jerks.
Β I found my azelf my gengar and a few others like my absol and such they were all ruined bent And stuff so when i went home i went out i threw out my ruined cards and was about to quit the pokemon fandom and i tried giving my oldest brother my heartgold I didn't know he had just bought soulsilver he asked why and I said what happened So he gave me his entire collection Of pokemon cards

I grew up with Gold and Silver. I watched my brother play Gold and I got Silver for Christmas. Missed Crystal and my brother stopped playing during Sapphire and Ruby but those were the ones where I played and got through it on my own. Loved Diamond and loved Platinum even more! Platinum is probably still one of my favorites because of the giratina event. Black and White were... X was Fantastic! the 3D environment, the fully animated sprites, the clothing system, the stabilizability of your character, I must have changed my hair about a dozen times. I wasn't too thrilled with the whole Mega Evolution thing. Honestly I find the Mega designs to be weird and pointless. They can take awesome pokemon like Salamance and Menectric and make them look weird. Menectric has a swift agile body, mega evolution, giant bulky spikes! Also that addition has made the card game almost unbearable for someone who still plays Diamond and Pearl cards. Other than that, I really like 6th gen

My first game was Yellow, but I didn't really know what I was doing (only fought using my highest level Pokemon meaning after Misty or Surge, only they got any levels) until Silver, so I feel more at home in Gen 2 instead.

My parents bought pokemon red for me and blue for my brother, mom got yellow for herself. This has been repeated for all generations until ORAS, she died before it was released. My favorite is gold and silver, Raikou is best Pokemon.
