So I decided to do inktober for the first time ever this year!!! This week's prompt for me is DISORDERS.

Day 1 is DEPRESSION fav.me/dbp8ijm (You fell for it didn't you? )

Day 2 is ANXIETY fav.me/dbpg52d

Day 3 is SCHIZOPHRENIA fav.me/dbpg8ul

DAY 4 is EATING DISORDER (I may do two, one a glutton, and the other anorexia)

Day 5 is BIPOLAR

DAY 6 is MULTI PERSONALITY

Day 7 is POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER

(what I may do next week: Dementia, OCD, ADHD, and another topic: MUSIC!)

I do not have depression now, but I used to.... this is kind of a personal experience, in a way, but this is more just for awareness of what depressed people go through, and what their mindset is...Do not worry about me, but do worry about others who legitimately have it! They need your help no matter how much they say they don't!!!

Brief explanation and hidden meanings:

I used to cry when my bangs would cover my eye so that no one would see. Beneath her bangs, I wrote in red LIAR to show that she is hiding her tears with her bangs, which resemble hiding her truth with lies. This is also shown engraved on her right eye (your left) on the girl behind bars.

The person son behind bars is the true self that I'm hiding.... the first bar to the very left (and all bars in general) is wobbly because it implies that her true self is starting to unravel and show.

Does her mouth look weird? Think again. Inside, I wrote in teeny-tiny letters, LIAR, again.

The red words are the words in her conscience, or her insecurities. Off and on some things people say to her, but mostly her thoughts. My conscience was my bully, so this is kinda deep to me.

The girl behond the bars bars is grabbing onto a bar because she isn't trying to break free and let everyone know how she actually feels, but is not strong enough to, and is worried that she will chase everyone away if she does break free.

And lastly, if you look close enough, she has tape forcing her mouth shut so that she does not say anything she regrets and so that she will not spill the truth. Engraved in the tape, again, is the word, LIAR. This shows that she hates lying, but does so anyway to prevent hurting anyone, but hurts herself doing it anyway.

Interpret this however you want, for art is worth a thousand words, and is open to your interpretations. Let me know if you see this in a different way! I would love to hear your opinions!
