Description For class... Visual Development of Alice from Alice in Wonderland. Inspired by Peter de Seve and Central Park set in the 30's. Alice is a tomboy, an orphan, finding companionship in the most unlikely of places.

Love it.
Beyond that- it reminds me of the style used for that 1990s cartoon- "the critic". which I loved. particularly the standing figure far left corner.

I especially love the hair style in the middle but the bottom right hand corner picture is the best use of expression, good job

Heh, I like that concept of Alice... one that would be quite interesting to see fully developed some day (keep that in mind just in case further down your career...) it is a neat idea

Well, this Alice is an orphan in the 1930's who gets stuck in Central Park during Fall/Winter and ends up befriending some interesting characters. So far in our class I've seen Robot Alice, Junglewoman Alice, WitchBlade Alice, Emo Alice, Anime Goddess Alice, and various other odd incarnations.

Figuring out the story as to why they're drawn as they are is just as important.
