See, since I've gotten behind and I was even gone for the weekend, you guys get more than one doodle of the day! I think this one should count for at least four.
This is just some of what I've drawn in preparation for my latest project in animation class. I, of course, am doing what I always do in art class and doing something ridiculously complicated and difficult and time-consuming. Hooray!

She kind of reminds me of Belle in the very beginning of the movie, out in the village

I'm hoping I'll be able to post it! I've been looking at the requirements for submitting animations and I'll probably have to submit a silent version and then link to an offsite version with sound, since I'm using copyrighted music.

reminds me of Disney...er, Old Disney, I should say. *sigh* makes me miss classic disney cartoons and how we'll probably not get any new 2d movies from them anytime soon. In any case, I love your strong sense of style and design, and you can really imagine the character move. Very expressive and would be a delight to watch in action. ^ - ^

oh, well that's wonderful news indeed! I guess we have less to wait for some new quality 2d animation. I had been watching some bits from fantasia 2000, and was remembering how much in awe i was at the firebird suite...probably the prettiest bit of animation i've ever seen from disney. Here's to a great comeback in the future...(and perhaps then you'll be one of the talented artists working for them... ^ - ^)

Thanks! I realized a while ago that realistic backgrounds just weren't worth the agony and hatred they caused me. So I relaxed and started doing them simple and silly.

ive always thought ... quirky backbrounds..landscapes..etc..
were much more creative.. and visualy striking
...like dr.suess.. tim burton.. and the like
if you ever watch.. GooF Troop.. theres no straight lines in the entire show.. everything curves and bends.. and i love that..
