I have been in a redesigning mood lately. And a retconning mood.

I recently redesigned my Nirmala x Surak lady and gave her a twin brother, and I also recently ONCE AGAIN redesigned Mheetu. This time he is the son of Ni and Sarafina. Hopefully it stays like that.

Now I am retconning my Zuri x Baliyo cub and the story slightly. They originally had a daughter, but I changed it to a son cause I really love the multi-colored manes I can get from the night pride

So!

Zuri leaves the Pride Lands and joins Kion in the Tree of Life because she has a crush on him and hopes she can get him to fall for her. She sees that he and Rani seem to be head over heels for each other, so she tries to make Kion jealous by entering a relationship with Rani's younger (by like 5 minutes..) brother Baliyo.

Kion wants children, and Zuri overhears he and Rani discussing that she doesn't want cubs right now but will be happy to have cubs in the future. Kion seems a bit disappointed in this, but is able to accept his mate's decision. Zuri plots to have a cub with Baliyo as a blow to Kion. To make him jealous of their cub and lessen his affections for Rani.

This plan doesn't work, however, and Zuri is left with a mate and a son she didn't want in the first place. Rani seeing how good Kion is with her nephew makes her change her mind on the cub front, and soon she is pregnant. More happens, but that's a secret

In the original story much is the same except Tiifu comes with her to keep an eye on her and Tiifu falls in love with Baliyo. Zuri gains true feelings for him and she and Tiifu fight for his affection. Tiifu leaves willingly because she doesn't want to soil their friendship over something so stupid. Zuri and Baliyo's cub is a big brat - worse than she is/was. She always seemed to have a bad attitude and regularly told her mother she hated her, but she was a huge daddy's girl. Stressed, Zuri leaves her cub and mate behind to return to the pride lands.

(And yes, this lad is a "pretty boy")
