Description
He collapsed to the ground, every memory of hurting her--every punch, every kick, every mean, shattering taunt--flashing before his mind's eye, making his soul so heavy that he just couldn't bear the weight any longer. One look into her gorgeous, bright eyes made him crumble, all anger and hatred and darkness leaving him for this one moment as he was succumbed to his own humility, his own regret, his own shame--

And his utter and overwhelming desire to seek forgiveness for the one he'd wronged--because he realised that he loved her, and didn't want to hurt her anymore.

With his head bowed, he tried to fight the tears that threatened to slip away from his tightly closed eyes. He couldn't hope that she'd forgive him for all he'd done--it was sinful of him to hope, to think that a demon born from evil as he could ever hope that something so pure could--

Then he felt gentle hands cradle him and felt a soft, almost feather-like pressure on the crown of his head.

"I forgive you."

If her first kiss had destroyed him, then this kiss had saved him.

The darkness lifted from his heart and the sudden lightness of it overwhelmed him, and he cried.

Actually, while I was drawing this, I realised that this could actually be a scene from my comic "PPG Retrace" xD It fits to well~
