AAHHHHH!!! This is so COOL! I'm at a loss for words. This was such a lovely surprise. I did not expect this wonderful gift from you and definitely didn't expect to see such sweet art of Mona's parents! Ahh they are so tender and in love, no wonder Mona can be the same. Such a beautiful piece of art! I really like their rolled up tails making up a heart!

I too am at a loss for words when it came to responding to such
a sweet comment as this and I'm glad you didn't expect
this gift that's how I role and I love that you love this piece so
much! I wanted to incorporate traits within these two that mona would
inherit like her affectionate tail for instance and I imagine that salamandrian
couples are a very close knit bunch especially when they are expecting and how
they are not too keen with outsiders like when your other OC S'thgala was so protective
with who Mona would share her life with cause I bet that unlike with real life newts, salamandrians
mate for life. Anyway, congratulations here's to another year of laughing at our own jokes and watching stupid movies!!

I headcanon salamandrians being super close knit but only with those they know very very well. Everyone else is practically an enemy. So basically, yeah, exactly what you said!

I bet her parents would force raph to do some kind of ridiculous and down right dangerous ritual like going to some giant monsters lair and steal some precious metals for her tribes armory or having to fight her giant dad one on one just to prove his feelings for her

Oh my god that is my favorite scene from that movie but if Raph had a family dinner
with them he probably won't wan't to eat their weird food or might be grossed out by how they eat
I mean we've seen the way the Newtralizer eats kraang as an example
