First thing I noticed was the way you drew his face, it's very realistic looking, nice to see you try a different style! Your shading is spot on, I'm very impressed! I tried portrait drawing before but it's so time consuming, I always give up, haha ^^'
Anyway, I think this is a very cool drawing style João, I would love to see more of these realistic portrait drawings! <3

Well i can say he was the reason why i watched it sooner than i thought. It was on my 'next' list for years but after seeing Sam's love for that series i just had to watch it! x)
This drawing will forever be one of the most special of my whole gallery for me.. cause it's one of the few where i didn't use any guidelines from a reference. Just my right hand, eyes and 3 or 4 L pics ^^ (the others were Gohan and Vegeta)
Haha, really? well for me it's less than half the time it takes me to finish what I am used to do xD
I'm very glad you like it <3 maybe i'll create a folder for these 'realistic' portrait drawings cause i really enjoyed making this one.

I've tried drawing them somewhat realistically but found it quite challenging, especially the hair. You should definitely draw some DBZ characters in that style though, l'm sure you can pull it off!
And yeah, I switched to the Digital artists' club xD But l have to admit l sometimes miss drawing the old fashioned way, traditional pencil drawings have some kind of nostalgic feel to them, unlike digital work. Hope that makes sense, haha.

I'm not gonna lie.. while i was drawing L i was actually thinking "is he (Sam) gonna like this?.. yea it's L.." So here's my Xmas gift for you xD
Let me tell you that this drawing was completely unexpected.. i wasn't planning to draw anything seriously.. it was just one of those quick experiences ^^
But then i thought it was starting to look pretty cool and tried some realistic style, haha.
Oh the hair.. i had a nice "teacher" or lets call her a source of inspiration.. x) Miss AjkaSketch You should (really) check out her gallery (if you haven't already!)
