Oopsy daisies, I did it again.

So the backyard series had it share of secret characters, but you had to enter sort of a code to get them. Wouldn't it be interesting if there were characters that you unlock by doing certain objectives? Like in Smash Bros.

Thus the concept of Rivals came to mind. There shall be more once I think of some, but for now here's six of them. Once you complete the objective, they'll challenge you to a game against their own team. If you win, they'll be unlocked for you to use. If you lose, you have the option to try again.

Alfonzo and Earnesto Bolivardese:
*Rivals to: Dante Robinson and Reese Worthington
*Unlock: Compete in Soccer to the Semi-Finals with Reese and Dante on your team.
*Trope: Trickster Twins

Chris Macan
*Rival to: Lisa Crocket
*Unlock: Play and win 5 campaign Football games with Lisa Crocket as a Bombers team.
*Trope: Gaming Otaku

Estavan Lombardi and Derek York
*Rival to: Tony and Angela Delvechio
*Unlock: Win 5 campaign Basketball games with both Delvechios on your team at Tin-Can Alley.
*Trope: Brains and Brawn

Tod Rivera
*Rival to: Pablo Sanchez
*Unlock: Win 5 Baseball campaigns with Pablo Sanchez on your team and not use a single power up (juice boxes are OK though).
*Trope: The Unfavorite
