Just something I thought I'd whip up.I'd imagine Smithy and his gang might've cemented a bad reputation where they came from, especially with cyborgs. I mean, if you saw a group of people who have been known to cause trouble, would you be happy to see them? Even though Alumina had heard of Smithy's defeat, she was still nervous with the lieutenants.
I couldn't come up with a decent title.

But Alumina'd better not look into these eyes for too long, there's too much woe and fear in them - both Yari's own and what he took away from his siblings. So much that a cyborg probably won't be able to bear that.

That's a good title.
In a way, Alumina's had it rough as well. Her family and acquaintances either turned into soulless droids for Smithy or vanished forever when she like 7, and then was forced to live her whole life underground, because of Smithy.
So in a way, she can relate to the Smithy Gang of having a positive life being taken away by a crazy mechanical king at a young age. She'll realize this later on, and her fear of them will disappear.
