Description
Agatio, from the Golden Sun games, in the style of the webcomic Order of the Stick. Made in Inkscape.Okay, I don't know what I'm doing. I noticed that I'd started making everyone's legs way too long, so I tried to cut back, but even so I had to shrink Agatio to keep him from getting his hair, fire, and feet cut off. (I use the same size "page" for all of these portraits.) Then there was the boundary between chin and chest, and the chest emblem...
I like the way the fire turned out, though. And I think I'm starting to get the hang of Proxian ears. (Now that there aren't any Proxians I haven't depicted...)
Less than five more weeks to Dark Dawn! I should have Alex up by then, easily. I'd like to do a sort of postcard - all the party members, plus some made-up kids, telling the new group "Wish you were here! (But even more glad you're saving the world for us.)", although I don't know if I could do it that quickly.

Heh, his arm looks like a lit fuse! Seriously though, very nice. I think he ought to look more bulky but his head, especially his hair and ears, are well done.

Yeeah, but bulky is hard to do. Potentially I could give him a wider body, but that introduces shoulder-related and proportioning problems.
Thanks!

I've been playing with transparency and gradients lately, especially with Psynergy stuff - the Jupiter Star in the second meme, for instance. There are those who would say that sort of thing deviates from the style, but it seems to be working better than solids would.

Thanks! I hope I'm getting the hang of adapting stuff into this style.
